After stopping in the village of Anthousa on the Little Parga train up to the Castle we decided to get a taxi up to the Panorama restaurant for an evening meal, after a telephone booking. The revues of the restaurant were good with the views over Parga bay from their terrace being prominent and this proved to be the case.We were greeted warmly and found that the food, prices and service from a friendly staff and chef were excellent and when the lights came on just above us at the Ali Pasha Castle it made a magical setting. The taxi from Parga was not expensive and the restaurant got us a return very quickly. Well worth a visit if you want something different.

Parga is a beautiful place which everyone should visit ! Our family creates traditional dishes with love and passion. We are using only fresh products from the local area ! We would be happy to serve you and offer you a traditional taste experience !!
Taverna Petros: Family driven with very tasty dishes, all made from scratch based on their traditional recipes. Sons and staff assure welcoming, kind and efficient service throughout stay. Open kitchen grill allows you part in the preparations and high tempo before food reaches your plate. Attention to details from choice of meat from the butcher, through their making of marinade, pasta, etc. Best tzatziki! (â¦and I got the recipe! ) NB: Make reservation for evening dinner!

We were recommended by our landlord from Parga to go to this place. Compared to the prices in Parga town, this is a really economical version where locals come to eat. It's reachable by car or motor only, about 5km from the town. It's on the main road near the exit of the village, parking is on street (very common in this area and Greece in general). Don't expect many English speaking waiters, but the menu is bilingual, so you point the finger to the meal, and they translate it to Greek :D.The seafood is fresh and basic, which I personally like, grilled or fried, there were some other things I saw others order but we couldn't since we didn't know how. The place is quite packed with lots of guests, so if you were thinking romantic and private, chose somewhere else. View is on the mountain and the road, but the food compensates. In this area, fried zucchini are a major hit, they come like French fries with some sauce, we were recommended tyrokaftery, feta and chilly pepper sauce for dipping, you can also go with classic tzatziki. Don't miss the warm feta with tomatos, delicious.
