Farm raised Catfish meal: Carfish, slaw, pickle, onion, slaw, hush puppies, bag of French fries. The best Catfish in Paragould. A large meal, that will fill you up! Dining area or drive-thru. Catfish only served on weekends. Love that Catfish! !

We have visited the Linwood Drive location on several occasions, and the food is always consistently good. I always get the fish plate, it comes with fish, fries, slaw, and hushpuppies, but they are always willing to switch up the sides to your liking. The price is shockingly low, compared to other places that serve a similar sized meal. My dining companions usually get the barbecue sandwich plates, and the regular size is plenty of food - I can't imagine how much you get with the jumbo! This place is no-frills, but there's a lot to be said for simplicity, and I'm sure it helps keep the prices low.

Most food here is 'meh'. It will fill your belly in a pinch, but that's about it. A few if the items are delicious- breakfast (wonderful biscuits and gravy, crispy bacon, etc) , the smoked half chicken (truly wonderful but they rarely serve it and you never know when they will ) , and the plate lunches are to die for (think chicken fried steak, mash potatoes etc). However, for a bbq place, the bbq is ....awful. Literally the worst pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. Meat was tasteless and had an odd texture (think school cafe or frozen prepared meat from grocery store) Bun was heavily toasted and smushed paper thin. It fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Bbq sauce was water thin and weird. Didn't taste like typical BBQ sauce. More like a marinade. If I was rating this place in bbq alone, it would be a hard fail. But some other items bump them up.
