Small Local restaurant situated among the swaying palm trees on Marigot Beach, come down during the winter months and enjoy a cocktail or local meal whilst enjoying the beach vibe.
Local beach bar with a charming proprietress. She makes a WICKED rum punch for all of $3 USD! A few of those and you will be "breezing out" big time. Try Mandella's COCO LOCO on the beach. He lops off the head of a coconut, adds high octane rum and away you go! Out of a movie...

Sister restaurant to the ever popular Roots Beach Bar, we are newly opened and sit on the top of the hill overlooking the bay. Specializing in local cuisine, local drinks and crafts, with beautiful views both from the front and rear of the restaurant. We
Well, where does one start? Sue and Peter (Fluffy) are two exceptional people with such a welcoming family. Their friends were lovely too. We ventured up the hill going into Marigot Bay and found their colorful Rasta inspired restaurant. We made a reservation as it was slow season in St Lucia, and you will find that many restaurants and bars are closed at this time of year. Sue and Fluffy were gracious enough to open for our family of 4 just for the night, and let me tell you, it was an interesting evening b/c of the pouring rain, and power outages, but did they cancel? Nope, they opened for us anyway, rolled out the beautiful tablecloths, and made our lucky family a fantastic candlelit meal. The chicken was the best chicken my son has every had, and let me confirm, it was delicious. Peter was taught to cook by his mother who he lovingly told me about, and has a beautiful picture of her hanging on the wall. Between the food, the hospitality, going above and beyond the call of duty, the loving crafts and drawings their daughter made us, the jokes and conversations we had with Sue, Fluffy, and her friends...it was a truly unforgettable night. One that I am probably inadequately describing, but hope to impart what special people they are. St Lucia is unreal in its beauty, but what makes it unforgettable are the Saint Lucian people. Check out Roots 2 if you want an authentic tasty meal, and great company with very caring people. They even gave my son a pineapple grown fresh in their garden, that we ate the next day for breakfast. Very fresh, and yummy! Can't wait to go back to St Lucia, and see them again. Our family will not forget Sue, Fluffy, and family. Thanks a million.Thank you so much, it was an absolute pleasure to host you and we loved the evening, I think it made it more memorable with the power outages ( we found out afterwards that a truck had hit a pole and made the power go out) and the torrential rain, It was fun. Thank you to you all, keep in touch and hope to see you again very soon.PS. Christina and Starr say hi!

Great slightly upmarket local food. A good choice of fish, chicken and steak dishes all with a local twist. Big portions. Excellent service. Frequented by locals and tourists. Owner/Chef (O'Neil?) is passionate about his food and that shows. He always comes out of the kitchen to check you are OK. We ate there twice.Price wise it is top end of really local places but worth it and much cheaper than Rodney Bay restaurants.Good for birthdays etc, special decoration of table etcNice bar outside for a pre meal drink or to stay for few. Not sure when but there is some entertainment on some nights. Worth an enquiry if interested.
