My girlfriend & I visited while on vacation and ordered the sampler dinner and loved it! The meat was all perfectly cooked and the grits were amazing. The Mac and cheese was just okay, could have been creamier (too much flour maybe?). We loved he variety of sauces available but the little cups are hard to carry back (maybe add some small trays?). Service was great, we felt so welcome and appreciated.

After seeing the place in a local eat out favs book as a good choice we ate there. Sorry we did. The server was friendly and helpful, but the pulled pork, with supposedly burnt ends was terrible. First no burnt end, can't have it with just salt/pepper as a rub per waitress, My pulled pork plate was so fatty I had to ask for lean portion, not much better but tolerable. As a previous reviewer I'm also a KCBS judge, this presentation would have got a team kicked out. The sauces were again tolerable but not up to the standard I'd expect. Brisket fat cap should have been removed on souse's meal, don't like chewing on fat.Thank you so much for your feedback!
