Smoke Shack BBQ offers fresh, homemade, award winning BBQ and southern sides as well as fresh cut to order steaks and select seafood dishes. Lots of Burger and sandwich choices as well.
The Smoke Shack's new location, although a bit outside of their previous downtown location, is very welcoming. The atmosphere is nice, fresh, clean. Menu selections are varied, but you must order the ribs! They are fabulous! Our waitress was very pleasant however she seemed a bit overwhelmed.

This place is not affiliated with "Pat's BBQ" which was located here. The only thing they have in common is the address.I eat here a couple times per week with my wife. We spend around $20.00 including drinks. The restaurant is newly remodeled and located on the East side of US 27. The decor is tasteful and the place is always clean. I wouldn't hesitate bringing friends or family here. Order at the counter, make your drink and have a seat. Drinks come via a self-serve soda fountain. Sweet and unsweetened tea are available too. You get a real styrofoam cup! If they aren't busy they will bring your food. If they are they will call your name. The menu covers all of the standard BBQ items. Everything is very good and the portions are large, not over smoked or over seasoned. The brisket sandwich is particularly good. You can get also get a great burger here. The sides are almost as good as the BBQ. The potato salad and collard greens are my favorite. Homemade cakes and pies area available but I never have room for them.

Good Ole' Fashioned BBQ - with a little "Cranky Frank" twist! We cook all meats fresh daily and you can always smell homemade southern cooking.
Arrived at 6:15 pm served our meal after a hour wait at 7:15. Kept apologizing for delay said they were cooking more ribs. When served wife ordered bake beans got a bake potatoe brisket was to well done and cold. I ordered chicken and ribs and fries. All served cold and the collard greens under cooked.Guess it is growing pains but must get used to large crowds.I really believe you have the wrong place, we have been open since February and we are known for fresh hot food. In fact our brisket is extremely tender and that is our calling card. We had a grand opening celebration that day and our tickets were out in 15 mins, we never say "we are cooking more ribs". We are also known as the fast, friendly hometown BBQ place, if anyone has an issue we immediately resolve. As I was in the kitchen that night, I know with out a doubt no food went out cold. I also notice you have no other reviews, so it makes me wonder. Maybe next time stop and talk to the owners. As we are always on property. Especially that night we were over staffed.
