Hubby and I dropped in for something to eat for lunch. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant was large and clean. I had the collard greens and they were delicious and plentiful! They helped keep me on my diet. Hubby had fried fresh catfish, fried okra, and coleshaw. He thought that they were âOKâ, but would try something different next time. The pace is slow; no one is standing over you making you feel like you need to hurry up and leave. The majority of people there seemed to be locals.

I have lived down south for 15 years and I have NEVER HAD BBQ THIS GOOD!!!! We saw this restaurant on Manvs Food years ago and finally had the opportunity to go while travelling through the area!! I wish I could order this food to be shipped to me!!! My husband had the lunch dish of chopped BBQ pork, baked beans and FF and I had the brisket and chopped BBQ pork, collards greens and mac and cheese. Not only was it the BEST BBQ we have ever eaten but the collard greens were also the BEST EVER!!! Well I have to admit the baked beans were amazing as well. You can taste the smoke and there was huge chunks of pork in them as well. I can not say enough about everything we had! MAKE THE TRIP, it is worth it!!!

Didn't try the bbq, but the chicken was delicious. Huge sides compared to other restaurants. Don't bother getting the shrimp, as it's basically tiny salad shrimp. Tried all the sides(Cole slaw, baked beans, and potato salad) All were very good. Price was also very affordable.
