Wife and I do a hotrod cruise night every Thursday summertime in downtown Barrington, Il. Cooper's caters the event with basic food like cheeseburgers, hotdogs and pizza slices. They also have a small restaurant on Route 59 just South of Lake Cook Road with many more choices. Exceptional food every time we visit. Not as moderately priced as most but the quality is always top shelf. This visit was chicken quesadillas. One order split between us. Wonderful taste. Sour cream, guaccamole, salsa and shredded lettuce with some black beans on the side. Basic food with a big taste keeps bringing us back. Never had any regrets or disappointments.

Bbq'd Productions

My wife and I stopped here for dinner for the first time. This used to be a Japanese restaurant. BBQ'd Productions is a huge restaurant. The inside decor is nothing fancy but yet it was nice to have plenty of open space without feeling crowded. Our server, Jeremy, was friendly, helpful, very knowledge of their food and sauces, and attentive. We ordered their chef special based on Jeremy’s recommendation. We were quite impressed with the quality of the food. Their chef special consisted of seven different meats and they were all very good. We ordered three additional sides (not included with meals) which were mac n cheese, potato salad, and cornbread. The sides were good but were quite small. We both had a beer. She had their Hofbrau Hefe Weizen which she enjoyed. I ordered a Grimbergen Abbey Ale which I had never tried before. I really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back when we are in the mood for barbecued food.
