I loved everything about this restaurant...the décor, atmosphere, food and fruit drinks. Our party ordered chicken and beef empanadas for starters. We also tried the chuzo de res and chuzo de pollo (grilled beef and chicken on skewers) and a stuffed arepa with chicken, beef, mushrooms and cheese called the Angie. We all tried the natural fruit drinks such as the berry with milk blended smoothie that I had. The décor is very colorful with unique lighting and items such as old telephones, radios, etc. Service was fast and friendly and the open air nature of the downtown Alajuela location where we went was not ruined by the odd passing bus or car.

Staff is very kind, parking lot nearby, choripanes are just fine. Near the Alajuela town center and Plaza Real.

Took a train ride out of San Jose and found this little gem. Food was delicious, lots of choice with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too. The fresh juices were lovely, friendly staff and great for kids too. They also have a tip jar that goes towards giving local homeless or poor folk something to eat.
