Delicious food for friends, family, and banquets. The South Lyon Hotel, as it has been known for decades, was built in the Village in 1867. For nearly 150 years it served the community first as a hotel, then more recently as dining & entertainment establi
The South Lyon Hotel has been rebuilt after the fire. There are two levels - each with outdoor dining and its own bar. The menu is fairly varied and prices are reasonable. Its a great place for a family to eat. The only negative is that it seems to take longer than necessary to get the food to the table after ordering. I'm not sure whether the kitchen is understaffed of what. I passed it off as no big deal the first time, but it has been repeated in the three subsequent visits.

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch, we were able to catch the golf Open and Tigers game on the TVs.The tavern has plenty of seating from booths, tables and high tops. The service was quick and the servers were friendly.Menu offers many choices from typical bar food to complete dinners. Appetizers include hummus to fried pickles. We ordered the hummus appetizer and a Tavern burger, and both were delicious.Bud Lite and Miller Lite were $2.00 thatâs a great price! The tavern offers a large selection of beer, wine and liquor. The tavern offers specials throughout the week. If youâre in South Lyon itâs a great place to go!

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening on the veranda. Gorgeous view of the course (10th tee) which rivals anything Up North. The fish was excellent (I especially enjoyed the Whitefish) and some nice craft beers on tap. The wine was quite nice too. Service was exceptional (thank you Brooke). An overall solid value and great time.
