As this was the only restaurant open the day we arrived in Cucuron, they were doing a roaring trade. Set right beside the Etang (pond) we thought the location was pleasant and were hopeful of a good lunch. The food was dreadful. My husband had fish that tasted muddy and I ordered a Basque style Chicken Linguine that ended up being a bit of dried looking chicken leg with some rice! Perhaps they ran out of Linguine? The waiters didn't speak English so complaint was useless. We didn't stay for dessert.

Based on the recommendation of Lonely Planet we decided to eat lunch at Cafe Gaby. The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The patrons that were there were all friendly and outgoing. It was a fun lunch.

This is a great find on the outskirts of Lourmarin. With off street parking and lovely family restaurant with MINI GOLF.18 holes to distract and exercise your children.The lunch menu is wide and varied.Tables are shaded from the midday sun, with a chilled out atmosphere.The crepes are large and tasty.Recommended
