Crikvenica (Croatian pronunciation: [ˈtsrikvɛnitsa]; Latin: Ad Turres, Italian: Cirquenizza, Hungarian: Cirkvenica, Cirkvenicza, Czirkvenicza, Czirkwenicza, German: Cirknenz) is the largest settlement on the coast of the Vinodol coastal area, Croatia, and developed on the site of Roman era settlement and military base called Ad Turres. Population 6,860, total municipality population 11,122 with 90% Croats (2011). The city is situated on the Adriatic near Rijeka in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar county. In the last twenty years, due to urban expansion of Crikvenica itself and expansion of the nearby town of Selce, the two were merged into a mini-conglomerate.

Crikvenica is our home in Croatia, and Balustrada has been our favorite cocktail bar in town for years. Now they've added food, and it's even better! The menu changes daily, because they use only fresh ingredients and prepare each plate meticulously with care. The pasta is homemade, and the tapas are the perfect size for a snack to go along with your drinks! I highly recommend it!The location by the sea is ideal, and it has a classy relaxed vibe.Friendly and helpful service as well!

Best burgers in town! I'm partial to the "Red Pool" burger with a little extra kick of spiciness. They have chicken sandwiches if red meat is not your thing. (Hot dogs, too.) And the only place I've been able to find here that has onion rings! Recommended!

We were a group of 15 and we had reserved a table for lunch at 2 PM which was recommended by the restaurant. Despite that we had to wait for over one hour to get the food and then they missed the order for one of our kids and he had to wait for 1 1/2 hour to get his potato wedges. No willingness to compensate for bad service unfortunately. We have been there once before and that time was much better though. Thank you very much for your review of our service, please receive our sincere apologies about the service that we're all aware of. The problem was diagnosed and solved the very same day.
