We were staying in Houghton and decided to visit Calumet. We stopped at the Michigan House Cafe & Brewpub for an early dinner. No crowds, good service and delicious food. I had the house hamburger with fries. The hamburger was so big I could not get it in my mouth. Cooked to perfection (med. rare) and the fries were really good too. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and carmelized onions. We both left the restaurant stuffed. Stop in for a nice meal when you visit Calumet.

Eagle Harbor, MI is not a valid city according to Trip Advisor. Eagle Harbor, MI is located close to Copper Harbor, MI. I know that this is a small town. But, they do have two hotels and a restaurant in this small town. The Eagle Harbor Inn and Restaurant
After a long morning of touring about the tip of the Keweenaw, we were getting a little peckish and decided to stop at the Eagle Harbor Inn before heading to the Great Sand Bay for some stone-hunting. What a great find! The Inn has a great "up north" atmosphere and food that will impress any of the city folk who happen by. Very fresh and interesting menu to serve all needs ... from great lunch items to fancier dinner options including steaks, ribs, and Great Lakes fish! We had French dip-style sandwiches on delicious pretzel buns with a generous portion of fries. They really hit the spot and fueled us up for an afternoon of adventure. I really wish we would have come back for dinner, too!

After spending the day outdoors or on the water we invariably find ourselves hungry for pizza. Tried this on a local's recommendation and was not disappointed. Crust was well cooked and not soggy despite generous toppings. A new favorite!
