Perth's only Authentic Indian Restaurant. Owned and run by Praveen Kumar and his wife Swarna Kumar. Opened 2009. Both born and brought up in small rural communities in south India. At Tabla we use fresh, farm grown spices by own family in India. Praveen h
Always visit when in Perth. Friendly welcome from staff. We ordered mixed tikka platter, starter to share. A Murgh Tikka and railway boti, with pilau / basmati rice and Garlic nan. All food was freshly made and very tasty. The food here is different from your usual Indian , hence the names of the mains mentioned. All washed down with some house wine. Will be back :) Dear dundeetravellermrshcMany thanks for the 5 star review. We very much appreciate you taking the time to leave such a positive review.Thank you Raj kumar

Thought Iâd try as this place changed hands. Ordered a pizza tonight in the shop. There was no mince meat in the chiller so the guy asked the other guy who was wiping the top of the freezer with a cloth to get some. He took out a small bag from the freezer and opened the bag taking some frozen mince meat out and scattered some on the pizza the other man was preparing for me. Bearing in mind he had just been wiping the top of the freezer with that cloth in his hand. He then placed the cloth on a RED chopping board picked up the empty container from the chiller and gave it a wipe with the same cloth that he had placed on a RED chopping board and refilled the container with the frozen mince meat. Red chopping boards are for raw meat!!!! While my pizza was cooking the delivery car arrived. The man from the shop took out a fair sized bucket of uncooked chicken which the driver placed in the front of his car. Another two full buckets were placed on the pavement and the driver also placed them in the car. None of the buckets were covered and the driver was smoking throughout picking up the buckets and getting into the car. The chicken was destined for the shop in Bridgend. Tell me apart from what Iâve mentioned above how do you know when the date the chicken must be consumed by as he never told the driver? And why transport large quantities of uncooked chicken thatâs not even in a sealed container with the driver smoking
