We visited this eve and the service and food surpassed our expectations. The service was excellent and the food was superb.I am moving to Dumfries over the next few months and will certainly be returning.The best Peshwari Nan I have ever had and as the driver was delighted to find they have 0 alcohol beer which even pubs don't sell.

Food here isnât great. Smallish portions (not necessarily a bad thing - most Indian restaurants serve over large portions in our experience) and not that warm. Bland flavours. Nan was thin and crispy but good. âTeaâ was a joke. A Tetley teabag and UHT milk sachets. Thought some of the food was over cooked. Service was disinterested and half hearted. Wouldnât recommend it.

Food distinctly average and nothing special. However, service was appalling! Staff do not appear to have any system in place to cover busy periods and claimed not to know why it was taking so long to get meals out but, given that it took about 20mins for them to take our order in the first place, we shouldn't have been too surprised. We were constantly being told that our main course "is just coming" but then people who had come in some considerable time after us were served their main course before us! In fact, another diner came over to apologise to us for getting his before us as he knew we had been sitting for a while - he also mentioned to the waiter and was told not to worry as our meal was on its way. The meal finally arrived just 3mins before we were ready to walk out and an hour and a half after entering. We will definitely not be back!!
