Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Wells. The name Wells comes from the city's three wells dedicated to St. Andrew. Now there's a fun factoid to fill up your next awkward silence. In England's smallest city, you won't find the big summer crowds of nearby Glastonbury. Instead, you'll have more than enough room to sight-see as you please. And there are plenty of youth clubs to entertain the kiddies while you wander. The cathedral in Wells is the landmark attraction, but also check out the nearby Bristol Zoo Gardens and International Helicopter Museum.

We ordered a selection of dishes- mixed starter, chicken massaman, Brandy beef, special fried rice, noodles and beansprouts and Thai prawn crackers. The meat was decent quality but it didnât taste as authentic as other Thai meals I have had. The prawn crackers were a mix of the Thai spicy ones and the normal white ones, I really wanted all Thai crackers. The fish cakes were the best part of the mixed starter. For a more authentic Thai meal, I can recommend Simply Thai in Midsomer Norton

I have been to Rajah several times and was a bit disappointed on my last visit. The restaurant now has new owners and the food is not what it used to be. I ordered a chicken biryani with a hot sauce. The biryani should come with a vegetable curry but the sauce with mine was almost pure onion! It was yellow and tasted quite bland given that it should have been a madras sauce. The staff are pleasant but the food needs to improve to match the style of the previous owners. PS the carpet on the stairs desperately needs to be replaced!

The Riverside Indian Restaurant provides a tremendous choice of exceptional quality Indian meals with very traditional Indian flavours. Specially picked spices and the expertise of our chef made RiverSide Indian Fusion a unique name in its kind. To enjoy
Well....it was a birthday meal and it wasnât that special. It came highly recommended on Facebook when someone asked for suggestions on the best Indian restaurant. Some of the meals were nice, however some of the food was cold and flavourless. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to clear the table so we could sit down We then had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for food....Other tables waited ages and they also got wrong food and missing items..!!£96....!!They were rude and blunt but felt sorry for the gentleman server as he seemed to be getting it in the neck but he was clearly fighting a loosing battle. We wonât be returning.Plus we all now have dodgy stomachs
