Reviews on Asian food in Pozzuoli, Province of Naples, Italy. Just a few miles west of Naples (and easily reached by train), the ancient seaside city of Pozzuoli is probably best known for its bradyseism, a raising and lowering of the Earth’s surface due to underground volcanic activity. Many sites remain from Pozzuoli’s days as an important Roman port, including the Macellum or Temple of Serapis, which for many years was submerged under water. The Flavian Amphitheater (Italy’s third-largest) and the Cathedral of Rione Terra are other popular attractions.

Don't get stuck in Pozzuoli Solfatara for different eats to the usual pizza/seafood/pasta offerings. Opposite the amphitheatre, on via Oberdan is Umami, a Japanese fusion restaurant. This beautiful restaurant serves a selection of delicious Japanese food, from snacks with aperitives to a full array of oriental goodies. Two of us pushed the boat out from entrees to main courses and a delicious bottle of chilled Pinot Grigio Ramato. A comprehensive wine list - we paid just over â¬100.

We had the lunch special "eat all you can" menu .So much delicious food presented beautifully. As our Italian was minimal and the menu new to us we probably over ordered. There was a penalty for not finishing any dish ordered .This was stated in Italian on the menu which we didn't understand..The manager very kindly disregarded this charge. Maybe an English menu would be useful. We would love to return for dinner..

Really excited that we found this place. It's easy to get to for us, excellent service, fantastic food, and reasonably priced. We went there this past Saturday night and had the salmon appetizer - superb! Followed with mixed tempura appetizer - fantastic! And then had several sushi rolls - they were all quite tasty. We will be back, and often!Thank you very much
