Pottstown is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States about 40 miles (55 km) northwest of Philadelphia and 20 miles (32 km) southeast of Reading, on the Schuylkill River. Pottstown was laid out in 1752–53 and named Pottsgrove in honor of its founder, John Potts. The old name was abandoned at the time of the incorporation as a borough in 1815. In 1888, the limits of the borough were considerably extended. Pottstown is the center of a productive farming and dairying region.

Looking to get an after drink we walked over to. SAKURA. It's a BYOB so no drinks. But our husbands hit up the local state store and they returned with wine and saki. We ordered a combo off the menue as I had wanted sushi for dinner. The food was delicious. We were not hassled as we stayed until close.

Blue Elephant is a beautifully restored former bank with a "kind of " Asian fusion menu. We had a slow start due to our waiter being busy "waiting on" the owner & her party who were dining at prime time on a Saturday night. Weird, right? When we finally got our drinks, we found them devoid of alcohol. Maybe go for wine, next time? We tried several starters, all very good. Nicely salted edamame, spicy rock shrimp & miso soup. The sushi rolls & crab fried shrimp were also very good. We will definitely try this place, again, as we had an overall good experience & are happy to see more great restaurants in this area. But owners need to improve some things as mentioned in an earlier review, as well as improving parking signage. We were not the only patrons who found it difficult to find parking.

These guys have great Chinese food. Mongolian Beef is the best in town. Sweet and Sour chicken & shrimp are very good & lo mien iis great too. Definitely worth checking out. It's a family run business & they are friendly & courteous.
