Takami Sushi Ponta Negra is a Japanese restaurant with some fusion touch (Peruvian and Thai influences). The sushis - their speciality - is well prepared with fresh seafood and correct cut fishes. Their problem is the usual in the most sushi restaurants (with the exception of a very few restaurants in São Paulo): the rice (wrong temperature and seasoning). There are good starters, the restaurant offers traditional hot food and a small list of desserts. The restaurant is decorated in traditional Japanese style (that is, clean) and the service is very friendly. The prices are relatively high comparing with other restaurants in Natal but not if we take the prices of São Paulo Japanese restaurants. In short, I think that is a good option of Japanese food in Natal.

Good food, cozy place and nice staff! We enjoyed a good variety of dishes and the waiter was really happy to explain them all. If you feel like going to eat some sushi, this os the place!

I was missing some Japanese food during my stay in Natal, so I asked for some advice and Temaki Lounge was the suggestion. And it couldn't be better. It's a small place (make a reservation before you go) but very food atmosphere, good ambient sound, very good service (look for Tadeu: the best waiter in town), and best of all: The Food!!! If you decide to go there, just ask for the Chef suggestion. It's a fusion cousine and they offer tastes and textures that will amaze you. Go there, then you tell me!
