After Koi closed its doors last winter, we were hoping for a worthy successor and I think that Viet-Wok is just about that. Since this Vietnamese restaurant opened its doors in April, I've been there, or gotten take out countless times and each meal was tasty and fresh. Every time I'm amazed by all the fresh vegetables I find in my food, something you won't see much in comparable restaurants at this price level. Even though communication might sometimes be a bit difficult, the owner and his staff always wear a smile on their face.The menu offers the Vietnamese classic Pho in different versions, as well as spring and summer rolls. You can also enjoy rice noodles with mixed greens and a meat or meatless topping of your choice, or fried noodles, rice noodles, or rice with various toppings. For those who like Thai curries, you can get those as well. It's hard for me to pick a favorite because everything I've tried so far was really good, and I've tried a lot.Danke

On our way back to Salzburg we felt like Chinese and following TripAdvisor we found this place. We were quite happy, not only the decoration, the furniture, the tableware were authentic, but also the dishes. Amongst us we tried all types of dishes (and having lived in China for years we could benchmark) and it was really good and quite authentic. The dumplings, the spicy beef, the hot and sour soup and much more. They even have Tsingtao beer (which is not obvious with the stiff local competition here). At the end a nice hot plum wine and we knew, this is a place to recommend. The owners have been running this place since 1987.

Waren in Hallein und hatten Lust um Sushi mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Optisch sieht das lokal aus wie im realen Asien, allerdings müssen wir sagen das Sushi und die Nudeln mit ente waren sehr lecker und vom preis leistungs verhältniss sehr in ordnund. Würden wir sicher wieder machen, wenn wir in der nähe sind.
