We were greeted very friendly. The menu and dishes were explained and the service was excellent. The food was the best curry we ever had at the south coast. The lamb corma was tender, rich and tasty. I had the vegtable brinjane, nice and spicy. Will defnitely visit again. Thank You.

I have been a regular here with family and friends ever since it opened. It is at the end of the atmospheric but slightly sleazy Derrick Avenue strip of Chinese restaurants and other businesses, and while there is good food to be had at many, Sai Thai in true Thai style is better decorated and far more friendly than the others. It is simple and cosy and generally busy without being overcrowded, I know the Thai community in Joburg comes here but the mix of diners is wide and everyone seems to get their full attention. I also often eat at 2 Thai For Corlett (convenient and fast take out) and Wang Thai Sandton (business lunches near my office), both also have nice settings and 2 Thai For excellent service, but Sai Thai wins the prize for the best food by far. No liquor licence so byo or pop to Chinese shops round the corner to buy.

We have eaten at Just So for the last 17 years. We have always had really good, tasty food here. Jackie and Graham work hard to please their customers. The new premises are bigger, brighter with an outside terrace with sea views if the Weather permits.No liqueur license as yet but you're welcome to bring your own.They also do take away if you don't fancy sitting in and eating.
