We love to go to China Koon for our carryout dinners. I understand it is under new management and they have renovated their dining area. Food is great as our favorites are the egg rolls, beef fried rice and chop suey. Their menu is very extensive. If you call in the order they are really quick to have it ready and, I'm sure, if you walk in the wait will also be short. Neat place. Have been going here for many years. This place is one of those "hidden gems". The staff is super friendly and they do a great job of remembering your name, and any little details that you share with them. I, for one, like the personalization and that "personal touch". I recommend the Fried Rice (I love the Shrimp) and their egg rolls are amazing! If you order one, that's your lunch! The veggie egg rolls are good, and so are the shrimp/pork. We come here in the Spring/Summer from time to time, but we go there a lot in the winter because of their soups! My wife loves the Hot and Sour, and I always get The Egg Drop. They make sure that I get the chopped scallions and chow mein noodles as well. Anything spicy that is one their menu is superb (General Tso, etc) and I highly recommend this place if you're driving on US 30 and passing through Schererville.

I think I have discovered a new Chinese carry out place. Crab Rangoons were large with tons of filling. Actually tasted crab and just not cream cheese. Fried very crispy, excellent choice. Salt and pepper shrimp was spicy with loads of jalapeño. Yummy if you love spicy hot. Shrimp were good size. I will definitely be back!
