My Somalilander friends took me to Sultan Restaurant on my 3rd night in Hargeisa. The minute you walk in through the large front gate, you feel you are in a different world. They have a beautifully decorated outdoor garden with many tables, two separate interior dining spots. The staff was extremely friendly, English-speaking and professional. I chose to get the camel bone marrow soup to start and then the camel with rice as the main course. The food came out quickly, hot and it was delicious! We finished up with some Somali tea and some deep conversations. The next day, I returned for lunch and had an equally amazing experience! Please put Sultan on your MUST DO list for your next trip to Hargeisa.

Close to Maan Soor Hotel Mocha cafe is located. New cafe with nice indoor and outdoor seating. Very high quality service of tea and coffee. Food is fantastic and very tasty. Staff are very nice and supper friendly. The cafe location in the vibrant developed part of the city. Very nice place for gathering of class people of the newly developed city.
