Very small town restaurant. A few tables and a counter space so the locals can chat. I am in love with their regular donuts (they offer cake as well but those don't suit my fancy). The donuts are light, fluffy, and with just the right amount of icing. I can eat four and not feel weighted down, so I do it quite often. Have yet to check out the rest of the menu.

Ok, so it's an old, VERY plain drive-in where you can eat inside or outside via car-hop service. Food is basic/diner/drive-in food ... Burgers, steak-fingers + nice array of simple, but good Mex dishes. Very good bang-for-the-$$$. Doesn't compare to Laredo Restaurant & Bakery close by for Mex food. Regardless, overall this is good chow where you come fill-up the tank without breaking-your-bank. Nice, hard-working owner & staff. You root for good folks like this who work hard trying to make an honest $$$ - & deliver good food/service. Net/net: Think a still active authentic good drive-in in American Graffiti &/or Last Picture Show.

Really looked forwarded to their Saturday night Prime Rib dinner. The restaurant is located in a truck stop with its own outside entrance. I'm sure some of the food there is good but their prime rib left a lot to be desired. It was way over cooked and you could not cut it with your knife. They served a dinner roll on top of a dish of carrots. The result was soggy bread. Plus there was not any butter for the roll. Service was fair but I think it will be some time before I return. It was very over priced for the value.
