Did the river run from Hudson WI. Made this one of our day stops. Don't waste your time. More worried about you buy merchandise than serving you a beer. Bartender was absolutely terrible. After waiting 15 minutes for a second beer we left. What a over rated place.

We stopped in for lunch and decided brunch sounded delicious. The food was excellent with enough for another meal. I had the mushroom omlet and my husband had his smothered with country gravy. Delicious and very reasonably priced! Our waitress was Madison. She was friendly and full of information about the cafe and the area. Two ladies have taken this shop over and have made it very cozy but still can see much of the original floors and wall.

First time visitor. Small, quaint restaurant in a small town. Menu is small, but perfect given the sizethe kitchen and restaurant. We sat outside on the patio over looking the river. Train traffic from time to time, otherwise peaceful place to dine. We started with their take on the Canadian dish, poutine. Fantastic. We ordered a variety be of dishes and all the food was absolutely delicious. Decent size drink, beer, and wine selection as well. Our server was Patty, and she was wonderful. Excellent service. We met and talked with the chef. The chef likes to make menu changes to keep things fresh and up beat. Very friendly staff. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back.
