The Kloten restaurant is bigger then the Oerlikon one but similar menusWas lunch time but not very busy - some office groups tend to come so best prebook. We sat outside due to warm weatherWaitress efficient quick got us drinks Main attraction is steak cooked on lava hot stone - you can choose from a small 150 gram to much larger portion We took lunch menu 180 gram included soup or salad (lettuce mostly) plus potato salad .The meat comes on hot stone and you can continue cook or not. Three sauces were offered with the tasty steakNo place for desserts 1960s or before USA memorabilia a bit tacky .Certainly will remain on my list of restaurants if I nearby

Second time visiting this place in the last 2 months. Both with groups of 8-12. The service is great and the hot stone cooke your own steak seems to be a hit with everyone that comes here! Majority of our folks ordered fillet and cooked it to their taste along with steamed vegetables or typical french fries that European seem to be so fascinated with, served with their main dishes. Mixed green salad was also refreshing and tasty. A nice list of wines and Mexican beer!!! The first visit we had very slow service on a night that the place was 1/4 to 1/2 full at best. So, Iâm not really sure what the issue was. Specially the fact that they basically serve you a hunk of meat and you cook it yourself. If you are in the area, give it a shot.
Where to eat Swiss food in Rumlang: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Restaurant with urban kitchen concept. The family business that emerged from the village of Rümlang
Many people find themselves in this situation: checked in at an airport hotel for an early morning departure and looking for a great restaurant to top off a weeks long European trip. If you find yourself in this situation in Zurich (at the Holiday Inn Express or the Park Inn by Radisson in Ruemlang) be sure and go to this restaurant. The menu offered many different choices, among them traditional Swiss foods and daily specials (wild boar and red deer the night we were there), as well as a good choice of wines. For dinner, we chose rösti and flammekueche (Tarte flambée) and for dessert, tiramisu. All of the items were delicious and the staff were exceptionally helpful. This restaurant is highly recommended.
