While in Hermanus, we inquired if there was a restaurant in town that served abalone. We came here to Selkirks because they served abalone. We ordered the abalone salad and it was good. The salad needed much more dressing on the greens and the abalone was fried. We have eaten better abalone in the past, where it had been sliced and pounded thin and then cooked and served with a delicate sauce. Restaurant has a great location with indoor seating, or outdoor seating on the deck by the pool area.

Fun evening enjoying the music and good atmosphere but Food was disappointing and bland. My hubbyâs steak was burnt and my chicken burger not great.
