Free popcorn to start. Win Win. Drinks order took promptly. Alcohol slush! Definitely!Platter worth the money! Mozzarella sticks are to die for! I had the Filthy Animal! Juicy burgers, lovely pulled pork, amazing cheese sauce and crispy hash brown! Desert was amazing. I went tradition with nicholls ice cream! But definitely worth it! My partner had the cheesecake! Also amazingKyla and Jodie the Staff are great! Itâs really not a amateur hickoryâs, its completely different!

Since becoming a free house in April 2012, The Crown Inn is going from strength to strength. Now under new management, customers are assured of a warm welcome from Landlord Martyn Peters and the team. The Crown is a comfortable and friendly pub/restaurant

Last weekend I thought I would take the drive from deepest dark Mold to Pantymwyn to treat the lovely wife on her 45th birthday. In a nutshell a dreadful night out and experience. Ordered Beer battered Cod and chips for £12.95. Sounds nice I hear you say. It was a shocker. Batter was like chewing rubber and tasteless. The chips were clearly from Iceland Frozen foods and were under cooked. The mushy peas were OK. All in all rotten value for money. The "Big Fish" in Mold do Cod and chips for £4.90 and they are always quality. The Chef at the Crown Inn needs to get to the Big Fish in Mold to sample proper fish and chips and learn how to cook food properly. Much more food like this and the Crown will be looking for new owners as customers desert the place. Unfortunately it doesn't seem this was brought to our attention at the time, or every effort would have been made to rectify your issues. Since your last visit the pub has been refurbished, and very successfully relaunched with a new chef and a new menu.Sadly you missed our free tasting at the relaunch but we'd be happy to welcome you back to The Crown Inn to try our new menu.

Visited here on Sunday evening as we were passing through Mold and arenât we glad we stopped! Food was amazing, so full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The amount of food we received for the value was unbelievable! The staff are just..... AMAZING! Such pleasant service, they all seem to be so passionate and it really shows! Great atmosphere and parking just round the corner. Could not fault this place one bit, will sure be back!
