Under new management this summer (maybe last summer too, but I didn't get there last summer) the food is soooo good! Pizza, hamburgers (not your normal h-burger) and sandwiches and oh! The Fuji Salad! Do not miss this place. We are locals, so we hit this place a lot.
This restaurant just opened downtown a few weeks ago. There are not many choices of places to eat in Downieville especially if you are there mid-week. We ordered sandwiches and they were good and they came also with a side for 9.00 which seems reasonable. There is no atmosphere, two small tables, but you can take your food on a paper plate and eat in the saloon next door or the patio behind the saloon. We didn't eat the dinner entrees because we thought 25.00 per entree was a very high price for a place with few tables or atmosphere. It really is a take out place so I would say go for the sandwiches.
Sabrinaâs is located inside the bicycle shop - strange but it works. Sandwiches for lunch served with choice of chips or potato salad. Gluten free bread available. All natural and organic ingredients. Coffee drinks too - I had chai latte with almond milk - awesome. Seating outside overlooking Downie River. Service was good for new employees and we were a large group all at once. This place is a gem - give it a try!
