The vineyard is open from the end of May to mid-October (consult the website for official opening hours). It is possible to taste our different wines on our terrace, while admiring one of the most beautiful views of Île d'Orléans! Pleased to welcome you!

Located in the beautiful Eastern Townships, the Cep d'Argent vineyard offers quality wines and numerous memorable touristic tours. Enjoy the exceptional view on the Magog River and on the vines' field where the hard work from the Scieur brothers paid off magnificently. Le Cep d'Argent, lovechild of two passionate French wine growers, is the oldest vineyard in the Estrie region.
We stayed in Magog and drove 20min to get to Le Cep d'Argent vineyard for a wine tasting and it was a very positive experience. You purchase your tickets outside for the wines you want to taste ($1 per coupon and each wine is anywhere from $1 to $4). There were two of us, so we got all different ones and shared, which maximized the amount we could taste! It was very well organized, with tastings taking place inside, adhering to all COVID requirements (mask inside while walking around, but can take it off to taste the wines and chat with your friends). Service was offered easily in French and English. We had a number of wines we liked and ended up purchasing 7 bottles :) Though a current promotion now is if you purchase 11 bottles, you get the 12th free! The grounds were very nice to walk around in as well; we highly recommend this wine tasting!

We stopped here while taking a drive on the Quebec Eastern Townships wine route, and it was a perfect stop. The staff was really friendly and we had a fun and interesting conversation during the wine tasting. The fields were beautiful as well in October with a pond and cows roaming around. So glad we decided to stop here, and we ended up buying some of their Rose and a Red Wine blends. If you’re in Montreal, it’s worth the trip.

We sampled some excellent wines here and were frankly surprised to find such high quality white wines ! We obviously took some home along with the very cool bottle that houses an aperitif ! We had an excellent lunch on the patio among the vineyards at a very reasonable cost. The day was perfect as was the food and the wine. Groups do come in on buses but that did not interfere with our excellent time !

As one of the leading wineries in Quebec, Domaine du Ridge is the perfect mixture of modern flare while keeping the traditions of a small European winery. Situated on a perfect temperature axes, the influence of the hot summer breeze from the Champlain Valley, as well as the cool and crispness of the winter insures a light and fresh fruit that will be the heart of every bottle. The attention accorded to each vines from the moment their planted to the moment they are harvested, the use of a modern press or even the more traditional foot press, as well as the detail and care that is put into each bottle makes our products simply exceptional. For a wine tasting or even just for a magical stroll in the country, think Domaine du Ridge and let yourself be guided down the beautiful tree lined road where you will be greeted by a breath taken view of our vines in a mountainous surrounding.
Great experience at Domaine du Ridge. We had the Épicurian experience (11am - 2:20, not quite the 3 hours announced on website). 12 tastings and a shareable plate of local delicacies: pintade rillette, artisanal sausage andham, cheeses and bread. Adequate size, but perhaps not sufficient to count as lunch for 2, especially since the plate was served at the end of the tastings, at 2pm. Out host, Julien, was knowledgeable and excellent at his job. Kudos! The space is wonderful and a great stop for bikes and picnics as the grounds are massive. After stopping at another winery -that will remain nameless- I realized that Domaine is a MUST stop if you are doing La route des vins. Excellent Covid19 measures in place.
