Since 1997 Jarvis Estate has excelled in wine production and offer the very best in Australian wine. Operated from the home vineyard in the heart of Margaret River, this world-class vineyard is also the family home of Matt & Jackie and their 3 daughters. Our red wine range includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Malbec. We also produce one of Margaret River’s best Cabernet Francs. Our award winning white wine varieties include estate grown Chardonnay, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. We pride ourselves on being a true ‘estate’, one in which our grapes are grown, fermented and bottled entirely on our own property. By carefully controlling this process, we ensure a better quality wine for your enjoyment. Whilst the cellar door experience is highly sought after by visitors to Margaret River, we at Jarvis Estate like to offer wine lovers something a bit different. Instead of a traditional cellar door we offer free vineyard tours and tastings!

Set on one of the most stunning properties in Margaret River, come for a wine flight, a glass or share a bottle with friends at our Cellar Door taking in the veiws of the lake and Karri Forrest or check out the local art in the Gallery. Popped in to Mr Barval Wines mid afternoon and WOW. Its a small vineyard and thats a real strength. You don’t get processed through a tasting, you are invited to enjoy by your host. - A stunning location - The warmest of welcomes and inclusive hosting by the owner - Delicious local cheese, olives, honey, crackers - And of course, Beautiful White wines, Delicious Red wines A quick read of the bio on the website tells you all you need to know about the wine and the passion, and they deliver a product which is second to none. Our Favourite was the Chardonnay. Light, creamy. But the Reds were also very very good. We will be back again without doubt. Possibly tomorrow! Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Woody Nook is one of the smaller wineries in the Margaret River region, but for all it lacks in size it more than makes up for in the superb quality of its wines and the food served in its cafe. I personally am not a lover of Chardonnay but the Woody Nook product pleases even my pallet. But the crown here has to be taken by the superb Nooky Delight (port), one of the finest port style fortified wines you will find anywhere in Western Australia and well worth the journey from Perth just for this alone. Friendly and accommodating staff and excellenty prepared local produce, including the exceptionally fine tasting plate for two, and a range of beautiful desserts including spectacular homemade ice cream, just add to the highly enjoyable experience.

Arimia is a family owned, single block vineyard located in a beautiful patch of the Margaret River wine region. Arimia is slightly off the main tourist route and offers a very authentic Margaret River style and feeling, operating completely off-grid and growing all produce naturally. Arimia features a fabulous restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a cellar door with wine tasting available of a sensational range of wines, and a guesthouse located overlooking the vines.
....for a taste of great wine or try the cafe. The staff were really helpful in suggesting other wineries and their wines are great and reasonably priced. The $5 tasting fee is waived on purchase.
