Vins d'Alsace Meyer Jean-Luc et Bruno

Located in Eguisheim, in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards, our 10 hectare (24,7 acres) estate is spread over 4 towns: Eguisheim, Herrlisheim, Pfaffenheim and Rouffach. Since 2014, it’s Bruno who runs the estate. In 2010, after trials in the vineyards and a deep reflection, we decided to convert our vineyard into Organic Farming. This mode of culture seems essential to us, consistent with our principles of life, leaving its place to nature. The human aspect of our job is very important to us. We sell 95% of our production to private customers. We organize, by appointment, tours of the cellar and vineyards to convey our passion.

The staff was very lovely and she provided all the interesting information we have to know, also about the Beyer winery history and biodynamics approach they have been taken to produce their wine. The wine prices are within affordable range (from 10 to 60 euro). We bought three special bottles of wine. Highly recommended!

We went there twice in one day. Firstly to buy an Alsace wine. The centre was huge and had an extensive array of fine wines. Normally we expect the wine tasting to be spartan with small pours and not much conversation. Well this was the opposite. Reasonable pours and we shared a glass and the conversation was excellent about the wines. The second time we visited the sensory centre and really enjoyed the exhibit and smells expected when tasting. Of course we used the toilets which were great. Bought more wine including a sweet dessert wine which was beautiful at tasting. Overall a good and personable experience. Highly recommended.
