Our winery is located in the famous winemaking region of Nemea. Following a 68-year tradition, we use 'handpicked' organic grapes from selected local varieties to produce excellent quality wine. Visit our winery to learn more about the wine-making process, taste our excellent wines and even join us for a meal. We are open Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekdays upon request.

Ktima Bairaktaris is located 2 kilometers from the entry of Nemea, just 1 hour from Athens. Under the shadow of the temple of Nemean Zeus, with feeling of respect for the region and responsibility for the conservation of the quality, welcomes the lovers of chosen wine and the selective professionals.
Visited as part of a tour to Nemea with Olive Sea Travel. The tasting was excellent and so informative and we really enjoyed sampling this lovely, modern style of Greek wine - in situ. We toured the facility and then enjoyed an excellent platter of food whilst sampling the wines - perfect.

Beautiful estate and surroundings. The wine tasting was amazing with 8 different labels, and not only we had such a good time drinking wine, but we learnt so much about the process of wine making, the differences of grape varieties and many more interesting things. Special thanks to our host Dimitra who was very personable and exceeded our expectations. Thank you!!

The newly constructed Karamitsos Estate Winery, is a family winery that produces quantities of high-quality wine. The facilities will give you the opportunity to see the oak barrels and modern inox tanks; thus you can familiarize yourself with both the traditional and the modern vinification techniques. The winery has a cellar and a wine-tasting hall room which are opened daily for the visitors.
Wonderful location, very friendly service, and delicious, affordable wine. What more could you ask for? We visited during Covid and like many tourist areas, the wine region around Nemea has not had many guests and they were not expecting visitors. Nonetheless the host put on a lovely (free) tasting just for my partner and I, and as the kitchen was closed, brought us three delicious varieties of grapes fresh from their vines for us to eat. We sat on the patio looking up at the monastery on the rock and were utterly delighted with our choice. Highly recommended.

Barafaka family has been active in the field of viticulture since 1920 in the area of Nemea, where our grandparents cultivated vines due to the history of our region and especially of our family. As we were children, we were into the vineyards, we were playing and grew up there. The same happened with our parents and us, the same will happen with our children!

In 1995, a new dynamic era began for Palivou Estate, when the old traditional tank was replaced by a modern winery, which was exactly following the demands of modern times. Nemea’s legends and history will take you back to the glorious past and you will definitely get closer to the nature. The winery facilities will familiarize you with the winemaking process and in the our celar you will learn all the secrets of the wine's world, along with a tasting experience of the rewarded wine coming from both indigenous and international varieties.
Went with a few friends and we had a great time. The hostess we had was very friendly and well versed in the winery and the processes that they used. She gave us a tour of the area and then led us to the tasting room. Overall we had a great time and even bought a few bottles of wine. I would definitely go back
