Bodega Renacer is a boutique, modern and eco-friendly winery built in 2004 at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, more specifically in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. The winery's architecture and landscape mixes a fusion between classic and modern style with Tuscan-inspired walls to provide a highly attractive and unique building which has been recognized and awarded as one of the most beautiful wineries in Mendoza. In 2006 the winery got one of it's wines listed in the famous Wine Spectator Top 100 wines of the world. In regards to Tourism, the winery puts all of it's effort to create unique, innovative and memorable experiences for their visitors. Recently, the winery has received the following Awards by "Great Wine Capitals - Best of Mendoza Wine Tourism": 1. Gold Medal - Best Innovative Experiences 2017 (Virtual Reality) 2. Gold Medal - Best Small Winery 2016 3. Silver Award - Excellence in Art & Culture 2015 (Barrique Painting) 4. Silver Award - Excellence in Architecture & Landscape 2014
I went to Renacer on a private tour and had a great experience. The guide at the site was a friendly, smiling woman who showed me and two other visitors their cellars and landscaped grounds as well as vineyards, and also sat down with me for a tasting of three of their wines. It was a memorable experience in a beautiful setting.

After 2 weeks in hectic Buenos Aires, we embarked on a degustation tour around the lovely city of Mendoza - west of B.A., and near the Chilean border. But after a while, we staled with the constant presentation of haute-cuisine, personality-free restaurants, and were then driven by our sympathetic and knowledgeable guide, Xavier, to La Azul Winery, in the famous Uco Valley. Bingo!! Real food at last! Delicious Choripan (the genius who invented this simple snack, used for every conceivable occasion possible, should be given a medal). It's Chorizo sausage sliced and barbecued, in a bread bun, with the famous Chimichurri sauce - the rightful ambrosia of South America. Then follows the asado (main course barbequed meats) - scrumptious! And then there's the wine - Mendoza is world-renowned for it's 900 wineries in the area, and especially for the gorgeous wines made from the red Malbec grape variety. La Azul makes several wines, but notably their Cabernet-Malbec flagship blend, and an outstanding unoaked pure Malbec (this is a must try!). Well, with all that terrific food and excellent wine down the hatch, and an unyielding eyeful of those stunning, snow-capped Andes Mountains, you feel a lot closer to your god - an everlasting experience. La Azul is a simple winery: easy to drive past. But search among the plainness carefully, and you will find gold. For us, just this single experience, with all else to see in Argentina, is the one that's most fondly remembered.

This small winery with a stellar restaurant is my favorite in the area. You can book a tour of the operation and taste their fine wines. And do not miss having lunch while you are there. The food is exquisitely presented and so delicious. The best meal I had in Mendoza!

Tierras Altas is boutique winery, own by the "Vargas Arizu Family", part of the Arizu Family, one of the founders of Argentinian Vitiviniculture. Four generations working on the vineyards transforming daily effort in wine culure. We invite you to live our "Malbec Experience Tour" and get to know our wines, winery , people and main varietal in a different and fun way. Wew suggest you, make the reservation 48hs before.
This little gem was a great experience even with my 2 kids. We arrived and had lunch with the most amazing food and wine at a very good price. The man servering us (Daniel) was able to explain in Spanish and English and gave great attention to our kids and took them to feed the fish in the pond they have. His service was outstanding. After a quick lay in the hammocks outside then off to a wonderful tour with Freddie who's English was very good and the tour was so informative. Nothing was too much and they even called taxis for us to get home. Super recommendable ..

We were lucky enough to be introduced to this gentleman and his wine in 2017. Tonight, we celebrated a milestone but sadly finished the last bottle we brought back from our trip. The whole experience of visiting Bodega Carmelo Patti proved to be one of the greatest highlights on the best vacation we've ever taken. Carmelo is authentic, earnest, and friendly. He crafts incredible wine that tastes all the better because you feel like he's an old friend and that you're part of his family within minutes of arriving. This is a spot worth seeking out if you're in or near Mendoza, and if you enjoy wine, look for a bottle wherever you can find it. You won't be disappointed.

This winery was really upfront and fast to set up agendas. Mayra and Ney make this a very special place! They are very supportive and friendly. The wines are amazing and if we compare to grand wineries I can assure you that it won’t lack quality at all! Actually it is much more interesting to visit them than major brands that you can find all over the world!

We are a family winery, located in Chacras de Coria, Lujan de Coria, Mendoza. This winery is from the XIX century and was completely recycled, thinking mainly about quality, in order to express the attributes that our our terroirs offer at the foot of the Andes. With this proposal we want to communicate the style of our wines, contrasting the old with the modern.
This family run winery is awesome to see how a winery is run. We had a tour through the whole process, very informative. Our guide very friendly and enthusiastic about it all. We had tasting of white and 2 reds and all were delicious. The tasting area is all decorated out of old wine barrels and corks.

Not expensive and a great meal with very good service. Nothing bad to say at all. Would put it high on the list of any vineyard tour.
