The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

Petter, the owner of Waterworld will take you to places where endorphins burst into your bloodstream. I was on a trip to 6 islands and the Blue Cave was one of the best days in my life, at the very beginning of the trip we met dolphins that swam with our boat and you could admire them, we stopped the boat for a while and the dolphins made us jump out of the water. The rest of the trip was also amazing and I recommend it 200%, the best part is the person of Petter who is a great guy and he can tell time. The boats have loudspeakers that play great music that Petter mixes himself. If you are worried about seasickness, I need to calm you down because on fast boats where we sneak through the waves, I totally do not feel any bad symptoms and I am susceptible to it. I highly recommend 100% satisfaction and a smile on your face guaranteed throughout the trip!

We've been to plenty excursions all around the world, and about 3 times in Croatia bot this was the most entertaining and well organized excursion ever. Our group (8 people) had a really wonderful time, both girls (Vanessa and Valentina) were super friendly and helpful. Everything was perfectly organised - from breakfast, lunch and some highlights on the way. Despite bad weather conditions and huge waves we felt really comfortable and safe on our way back. I wish all other companies had such jewels in their portfolio!

My husband, two sons and me booked a one-week catamaran trip with Anchor and Wine in 2018 for our 20th anniversary. We knew we wanted to see Split and Dubrovnik but had no idea what else to see and do in Croatia. The owner Silvia was so kind and patient in explaining everything and creating our week, because we had no idea how it works. I had no idea my husband was secretly arranging with them small vows renewal for us in a Franciscan monastery near island Korcula. The most intimate and beautiful event on this trip. A local monk, my husband, sons and me. The old monestary decorated with tiny white flowers and a few candles. Thank you girls for organizing that, you did more than you know!

If you book one trip on your visit to this beautiful coastline, make it this one, we absolutely loved it! ... The feeling of being on board the rib, blue sky, turqouise seas and the wind in our hair gave us far more connection with our surroundings to that of larger and less intimate boats. Duje and Slaven our skipper and guide were so informative and took us to areas other tour boats don't usually venture, thus avoiding the endless queuing of boats at the regular destinations. Our journey was accompanied by the music from Duje and Slaven's wonderfully chilled playlist which just made the experience feel almost spiritual. We dined at a fisherman's cottage at a beautiful cove in Hvar, the food was delicious and served up with lashings of wine and plenty of laughter with a fellow travellers from Blegium, Sweden and America. The paddle boarding was hilarious ... do give it a try even, if like me, you are a little nervous, you really won't regret it!

This is authentic Croatian gastronomic and panoramic experience with expert guides! On this tour you will also learn a lot about history of this region by visiting one of the most fascinating forts in Croatia - fortress of Klis. With panoramic views across the valley and Split city beneath, imposing fort of Klis has protected the seat of many a Croatian King. Today, it’s a tranquil but spectacular place and featured in a number of Game of Thrones episodes. We enjoy lunch at OPG Plazibat, a traditional Croatian meal made of meat and vegetables, slow cooked under a cast iron bell and covered with coals – delicious…) The house holds a secret – a beautiful looking restaurant hidden in the cellar of a family house with all the food made and grown on their own premises. The family owns livestock, donkeys, chicken and grow all the fruits and vegetables necessary for themselves and their guests. Pescatarian and vegetarian options are available and all common food allergies are catered for.
