From a wine and olive oil pairing at Morgenster winery to Lourensford's wine with decadent chocolate pairing, a summer picnic lunch beneath 300 year old trees at Vergelegen and end with a wine with a view finale at Waterkloof.

This tour is designed to introduce guests to two of South Africa's finest and most famous wine-producing regions. Tours and Tastings are conducted by specialist wine tour guides, to give in-depth insight and information about the wines tasted and the region. There is also a very interesting cellar tour at a winery that uses techniques used up to 8000 years ago to produce their wines. It is a tour that can be enjoyed by anyone who enjoys wine, no matter their wine knowledge.

Our Wildlife tour was designated firstly and mainly for children from all over the world to see and experience our variety of big cats, crocodiles, snakes including the most dangerous , mambas, cobras and boom slang and other African animals. The tours covers 4 to 5 different locations incorporating the Cheetah Outreach in Firgrove, our most endangered cat.Then the Bird Sanctuary at Spier which is one of the most remarkable displays of the intelligence of the birds, after which we than move to Vredenheim to see their big cats including white lions, Bengal tigers, and a Cape Leopard and Caracal. We then move on to tour the Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm where a swim or dive with the crocodiles is optional. Finally ending the tour at both Chimpanzee Park with Drakenstein Lion Park a safe haven for distressed and abandoned big cats and if time allows a stop at Giraffe House Wild Life Awareness Centre.

We will take you on an interesting, unique and fun-filled day’s excursion to wonderful wine farms in and around Somerset West and Stellenbosch. We will select between 4 to 6 farms depending on the kind of wine you enjoy and time spent at each farm per tasting. We will give you time to do bespoke wine tastings (some farms also offer paired wine tastings) and time for lunch at one of the estates. We will also see the quaint duck run at Vergenoegd wine farm and learn about the history of South Africa through these old and established Cape Dutch wine farms. We can customize the excursion to suit your needs and requirements and you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable tourist guide with years of experience and a love for the local wine route.

Welcome to the Overberg region of South Africa, known for its abundance of outdoor activity, natural beauty and marine life. This itinerary has 2 full days of riding from the Elgin Valley through to Hermanus ending at the southern tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas. Riding is moderate to easy on country gravel and tar roads. The Helderberg Wine Region falls under Stellenbosch South – bordered by the Hottentots and Helderberg Mountains is a unique area with its mountains, forests, riverines, and fynbos with 70% of the Cape`s 8,600 fynbos species to be found here including some of the oldest and finest wine estates in the Cape Winelands. Vergelegen was established in 1685 by the Dutch East India Company and granted to the then governor of the Cape Willem van der Stel Abounded by beautiful trails and hikes in the surrounding reserves such as Idiom, Waterkloof, Morgenster and Lourensford Wine Estates.
