Lazio (UK: /ˈlætsioʊ/, US: /ˈlɑːtsioʊ/; Italian: [ˈlatsjo]; Latin: Latium) is one of the 20 administrative regions of Italy. Situated in the central peninsular section of the country, it has almost 5.9 million inhabitants – making it the second most populated region of Italy (after Lombardy and just a little ahead of Campania) – and its GDP of more than 170 billion euros per annum means that it has the nation's second largest regional economy. The capital of Lazio is Rome, which is also Italy's capital and the country's largest city.

We wished we could see Pope Francis but we could never expected we could see him so closely thanks to Rossana great effort. Rossana and our driver Luigi are both great persons and the visit to the Pope very well organized. They both were professional, supportive, engaging and very helpful. Rossana took really a great effort to make the visit tailored to our needs and she had great sense of humour. Big thanks to R and L. We would highly recommend this tour.

In 4 years of activity in my pasta shop I received many nominations: in the prestigious "Gambero Rosso" guide from 2017 and as the best among 10 pasta factories in Rome. In Italy the "pasta factory" is a place where fresh pasta is produced and sold to those who want to cook it at home. I was inspired by the pasta that my grandmother used to prepare when I was a child. It was a very special pasta and today I realized my dream because I am proud to teach, right inside my "pasta factory", the old Italian method of making pasta for hundreds of people who want to learn how to eat healthy pasta according to the true Italian tradition transmitting all the love and passion of my family. Today I dedicate myself to organizing high-value cooking classes to teach how to make fresh artisan pasta in a simple and effective way, thus managing to make all the recipes of the lesson at home.

Inclusions: Menù: Ravioli with bechamel sauce with sage, Tagliatelle with egg and fettuccine water and flour with sauce made during the lesson. Water a glass of Italian wine in bitter bottle and biscuits.

A lovely lady called Gulia took my husband and I on a walk round Rome sampling food and drink from various shops and a superb pasta lunch. If you are going todo this tour I advise you not to eat much beforehand as we finished the tour around 2:00pm and did not eat another thing all day. We had meats and cheese with some wine to start off with and then followed this in a picturesque market square with tasting various oils and vinegars. Roman Pizza and beer were next, followed by a delicious lunch of two different types of pasta. Then followed dessert of either cannoli or tirimisu at another stop off point, ice cream and coffee to finish. Never felt so full. Guila was full of interesting conversation about her city. All in all a great day out ending at the Trevi fountain.
