Came by for dinner with a small group after a tour of Badia di Passignano. The chef put together a five course menu that was prepared beautifully---in addition, it was not too filling--it was ideal. My personal favorites were the Pasta stuffed with duck, the Burrata Cheese Fondant and the Wild Boar Loin--all were extraordinary. The chef came out and spoke about the dishes---it was a great evening.

The Rinuccio 1180 is a wonderful, bistrot-style restaurant in the heart of the Chianti countryside, in the renowned Antinori winery. The food menu features canât-go-wrong Italian staples. The duck ragout pasta was an unassuming yet superbly fitting accompaniment to one of the wineryâs top products, the Sangiovese based Tignanello. It is a pricey wine but a must have experience for all wine lovers.

Shop, Wine Tasting & Bistrot
It was a warm evening and we decided to enjoy some wine and a little food. Enoteca di Greve is right in town. The staff is friendly. On this evening, most of the patrons were locals. Over a couple of hours, we enjoyed some glasses of wine and a tanglier grande plate and the crostini misti. All very good.Vines by the bottle can be purchased and wine tastings are also possible.

400 different wines coming from the best vine growing and key wine making countries, especially from Tuscany, both on sale and on the list;local dishes; partners like Dario Cecchini; selected cheeses and top quality coldcuts and much more. A visit is alwa
Charming restaurant with fantastic food. Staff spoke excellent English. We had a large party and were seated in a lovely back room (all to ourselves). I'll be dreaming about the squash blossoms and panna cotta for years to come. And the pork was so soft and moist - everything was amazing. Chef made pasta with olive oil and parmesean off the menu for my kids - so accomodating. Many many thanks for your kind review, it will be shared with the staff, we appreciate you loved our "cellar" in the back of the restaurant,as well as the menu' we served, Thank you very much indeed,I Malavvezzi.

Next to a bus stop you find this restaurant, but that keeps the mass tourists in the Chianti area away: Here you find Italians and globetrotters. The menu is mainly local dishes, which besides classics suchs as gnocchi and risotto includes lamb rack and beef, paired with wine from wineries nearby. And donât forget to try one of the desserts, we had tiramisu (heavenly) and icecream with raspberries (in grappa).

This winery is in a spectacular location, just stunning, would like to stay in the castle or attend a function it would be beautiful. The brief & informative tour of the winery was well presented and interesting. The wine samples and food were delightful, thank you for making a stop in wine country very enjoyable.
Top 10 Italian food in Strada in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Province of Florence

Typical Florentine cuisine, with typical Florentine dishes as Beef Stew "Peposo alla Fornacina", T-bone Steak, Pasta dishes and a good wine selection from the Region.
This restaurant was certainly not worth the visit. The cater to Americans and it shows. The food is OK but not up to the standards we encountered elsewhere. And it is terribly overprices for the amount you receive. There are Americans everywhere singing American songs. I can do that at home. Not recommended.Dear Ruth R.,thank you for your review. I totally remember the night you are talking about, because we normally play a mix of ambiance music and not only American music (although we really like American music and most of all we like being spontaneous in everything we do, so at our place there are not cliche like playing only Italian old classics etc. ) ..... That particular night at the end of Semptember (when you visited us), we had family friends from San Francisco visiting and while they were here they got a bad news from home, so our goal playing some music we use to listen to when we are there was to cheer them up nothing else... and that was only for 30 min or less by the end of the night.... About our food, I'm sorry it was not of your total satisfaction... our dishes are typical Florentine dishes, we have the same recipes since my great grandparents started the business in 1906 and for the Italian standard our portions are considered generous .....All the bestMatteo

Did my own little Tuscany tasting and ended with a bill of 200 EUR with no food. I found two Chianti' were good and the that the Super Tuscany wines were disappointing. The concept is good and the place is nice, so are the staff, but I think it was too pricy...

A farm managed by wine producers and extra-virgin olive oil of high quality in a splendid position in the Chianti Classico area. Only Tuscan products and simple dishes of the regional tradition to accompany with an excellent wine!
A very nice âAgriturismoâ in a perfect position on the way from Florence to Siena. We felt welcomed by Federico, the owner, who explained to us the history of Chianti wine and of the family winery. The lunch started with homemade toasted bread, cheese and cold cuts, continued with wonderful tagliolini al ragù and ended with the typical âcantucci with vin santoâ. We also bought a bottle of Tuscany olive oil. I recommend this place because itâs very easy to reach from the highway and for the kindness of the owner. Thank you Federico!
