In one of the most typical neighborhoods in Lisbon you can find this small and charming Bistro & Bar, Maruto. A place where you will always fell at home even when you come alone, with friends or with that special someone. You can taste typical Portuguese
Me and my boyfriend came here after reading the reviews. Being honest, I wouldnât have given this 5*. Itâs not really a restaurant, more a tapas bar to grab a quick snack. Have been to better restaurants in Lisbon.

Because those who seek Bairro Alto, seek tradition. It was in this neighborhood that was born the new gourmet shop Baco Alto. A world of aromas and flavors that blends with the life of people of ancient customs. Wines, Cheeses, Charcuterie, Canned and Tap
Lovely little wine shop which also sells small platters of cheese and meat. The owner is lovely and very chatty. Definitely worth dropping by to taste some great Portuguesas wine and taste local cheeses

My wife and I have visited this cosy and inviting restaurant several times now and have never been disappointed. We always receive a warm welcome from Paolo the owner before enjoying an exceptional array of beautiful food in tapas form. There is no menu as such but a choice of excellent fresh local produce as well as good wines and ports. We cannot wait to visit once more!Regards from Mark and Ros in Scotland

Tapas Bar. New in Town. The best combination of typical Portuguese and Spanish Tapas in Bairro Alto with an exclusive cellar beer Estrella Galicia and an excellent wine menu rigorously selected.
We visited here in September - have been meaning to leave a review since then. At the end of a very long day of sight seeing we came here for dinner and it ended up being the best meal of our whole trip! The staff were fantastic - they made us laugh and spent time with us and talked to us, it was wonderful. The beer brewed here is absolutely delicious and I cannot recommend it enough! All the food was yummy - the prawns, chorizo, breads, nibbles, chocolate mousse, potato dishes. Really enjoyable so thank you very much! The value was also excellent - we took food home in doggie bags as the portions were generous and the food too good to leave behind. We still talk fondly about our lovely meal here, hopefully someday we will be back!In the name of our whole team, thank you for your visit and for taking time to share this amazing review with us. We really hope to see you again at Tapas Boa Hora someday!

More than 150 wines by the glass. Port wine flights. One of the best selections of portuguese cheeses, and charcuterie, combined in mixed boards. Handmade canned fish delights. Rare and old Port and Madeira wines collection, also by the glass. Please not
This place was ok without being great - our experience a little disappointing based on the high TA reviews. Service seemed a bit muddled and slow. Keen to impart knowledge but at the same time flitting from table to table before we actually got a drink, trying to do too many things at once. It took us over half an hour to get a drink and 45 minutes for food despite only 3 - 4 tables being occupied, which became a little annoying. Highlight were the cheeses, oils and jams and the lady that explained about the various meats and cheeses. You could also try the wine before you buy. Negatives were overall service and relatively high prices. Wine was alright but did feel obliged to go with their recommendation. In hindsight, I think we would have enjoyed it more if weâd engaged less with the sommelier and just picked wines ourselves... we would have drank more than the one glass of wine that way!

August Open Tuesday to Saturday from 11h00 to 22h30
After a tour on the river we took the opportunity to come here. We were not disappointed. The host was knowledgeable about all the locally sourced food.We drank craft beer and recommended wine. It was all absolutely delicious, the tuna was so beautifully cooked and the cheese and meat platter was delicious and gave you a real taste of Português cuisine.I cannot recommend this place enough, it is definitely worth the trip.Derek from Glasgow

Wine bar and tapas. Taste Portugal with us. Our tastings are famous.
An epic couple of hours in Lisbon.A great afternoon of tasting fabulous wines, port, cheese, olive oil, bread and meat. Our hostesses were very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the subject matter and made the experience.Once they knew of our preference for port, they swapped one of the planned white wines for an additional port. The afternoon was a relaxed one on one education on all things wine, cheese, olive oil and ham Portugal and the servings of wine generous to say the least.Every guest was given a wine selection tailored to their own preference. A unique wine tasting afternoon. Great fun and decent value at 70 euros per head...

A little wine bar and restaurant with a great selection of Portuguese wines, meals and tapas. We also serve dinner with fish, meat or vegetarian meal. And not least - you will have a personal service from the owner who likes to make the customers feel hap
The Little Wine Bar is located in the middle of the Lisbon steps and is just what you are hoping for. White wine soalheiro refreshing as flavored sparkling water that numbs the pain from the hiking the hill. With the some of the most attentive and nice service you can find in Portugal. The manger puts forth attention to making sure every one has an enjoyable experience. They presented flaming chorizo before its severed and your mouth will water. Highly recommend

nova Is a space in Chiado dedicated to the new Portuguese wines. With an "industrial-chic" decor it works as a wine shop and bar. Where also, one can taste several dishes of Portuguese food. Menu not recommended for children.
We stopped in here for a late afternoon glass of vino & some snacks. My wife ordered a white Sauvignon Blanc while I opted for the 3-grape red blend from the Douro Valley. Both were excellent & paired well with our food choices of young goat cheese with olive oil & dried tomato paste & a second plate of smoked blood sausage - wonderful. Great wine wonderful food & outstanding service!!

This is a very small restaurant run by a lovely kind couple that clearly loves what they do. The lady was the wine connoisseur. We decided to accompany our lunch with wine by the glass. She will make recommendations and let you taste before choosing. We had Douro Colinas do Douro, with our sardines, which were wonderful, Mare & Corvus with sausages and linguica, which were served with mango; the dish was very good, and others with our main dishes. Out of the way but worth a visit.
