Modernist narrow restaurant. We had a reserved table in a window alcove overlooking the outside tables (which would be better on warmer nights) and the sacristy of the Cathedral. The menu is not extensive, but has a variety of dishes. All was well cooked and the service was excellent.

We made an appointment to visit the winery with Cru tasting. It was interesting to learn that the commercial success came from their approachable white that currently production reaches 800,000 bottles annually and the highly sought after Cru Barolo and Barbaresco came after that. The tasting room and winery is nicely designed. Very friendly staff with tremendous knowledge of the vineyards.

Called for quick weekday lunch with a girlfriend and will definitely return. I Love the decor and style! We ordered 1 dish each and no wine (weekday lunch!) but were kindly offered a beautiful tasty aperitivo mix. The food was nice (soup absolutely delicious, whilst the spinach frittelle tasted a little too fried). Great wine selection. Good value. (â¬10 /head) will definitely return.

The food is passion, culture, source of life. We eat to nourish our body and our spirit, everything we eat becomes us to become what we are. Eat until sated and filled with goodness, because it is a privilege to enjoy taste exciting. We offer you the best
A modern bright wine bar on the main square. Staff very friendly. As is the norm for Italy, complimentary cheese, meat and crostini (however this was the best crostini we ate in Alba, apparently made with local beer - absolutely delicious!)Worth a visit.Dog friendly too!

We stopped here twice during a recent trip to Alba. They have a good selection of Piedmont wines, both by the glass and bottle. We ordered by the glass and each order was accompanied by very nice appertvio plates. The service was very good for the initial order but after that the waitresses would completely ignore you. It was almost impossible to find a waitress to order a 2nd glass or to ask for a bill.

Artistic portion satisfactory for small people ( not us) but really tasty. We had a tajarin with white truffle, pasta was great but the truffle was not strong or tasty as it should have been. The service though was really nice and helpful

Based in the centre of Albalies a welcoming and refined placewhereyou can breathe the air of Hemingwayâsscenes, from Paris to Havana, from Florian to the Harris Bar, sipping drinks until2am or sampling typicaldishes and delicious snacks. This small parlou
We had two meals in this restaurant. The first evening it was really very good, with an excellent fresh tomato sauce on our pasta, which was cooked to perfection and a delicious tagliata. We were so impressed that we returned the next evening, only to be somewhat disappointed. They were very busy as it was a Friday evening, and the food was simply not as good. I wouldn't go back there to eat at the weekend, but there were plenty of Italians having a pre-dinner buffet and drinks (the aperitivo), which all looked very interesting. I would stick to that next time.

Right in the heart of town, seconds from the cathedral and the main attractions of beautiful Alba, Vincafe is good for families and visitors as well as there being an encouraging smattering of locals there too. The youngest enjoyed her tarjarin ragu, oldest liked his steak, and my veal milanese was good too, as was my wife's ravioli. Good prices and well worth a visit.

We visited Caffe Umberto at the recommendation of our host. She actually recommended Eno Club, which is the Sister restaurant just downstairs. We dined upstairs in the more casual Caffe Umberto. It was a happy accident! The wine list was very extensive (mostly wines from the Langhe region. Which is why you come to Alba anyway, right?!) and the sommelier was very knowledgeable although a bit hard to have a conversation with. The menu was not as extensive as the restaurant downstairs, but had many delicious options. We happened to be there during the truffle season, so we enjoyed the Alba white truffles. When paying our bill, the manager offered us a complimentary tasting of Grappa. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for the following night downstairs at EnoClub.

...Enoclub is a must. Very friendly people and even last year which wasn't a good year Luca was able to serve a good white truffle. This year for me again a very good meal, for my wife less good since Red Mullet is not really here taste and unfortunately the Tuna Tartar wasn't anymore on the menu. We spoiled ourselves with a 2010 Romirasco, a Barolo made by Aldo Conterno. As a main court I ordered the Tagleri with white truffle. Very good as usual. A good bottle of Wine, Pasta and saved white Truffel - what do you need more....
