We were so lucky to find this amazing restaurant during a three night stay in Ruthin. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the service is slick and super friendly. We were extremely well looked after by Andrew throughout our visit. The food was outstanding. Immaculate presentation and delicious. We had been exploring England and Wales for almost three weeks and both agreed that this was the best meal we had eaten throughout our trip.We would highly recommend this fabulous restaurant and would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Came on 2 occasions, first time with a friend, I had the Rissoto which was lovely, service good. I came back today. I had a black pudding starter, excellent and the other person Calamari, both excellent. For my mains I had Chicken Ceasar salad, no complaints, the other person had Seafood Linguine, covered in tomato, that was sent back as flavours were fighting each other and asked for same with sauce, result was a stunning fish. Staff excellent, offered us refund on food which we declined as second attempt was a great plate of food. All in all very enjoyable.

The White Horse Restaurant is located in the hamlet of Hendrerwydd near Ruthin within the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales Surrounded by stunning scenery and overlooking the Clwydian hills, it's a place to leave the busy world behind and come and enjoy good foo
We were a party of three for dinner.Ambience and decorA classic, old-fashioned pub that caters for diners looking for something better than pub food and also a local clientele. The lay-out of the dining room was cosy and there was a nice atmosphere. The decor could be more inspired and the gents toilets need attention.FoodThe menu includes 6-8 choices for each course, with one vegetarian main. Food quality and presentation is good, reflecting a chef who has obviously either worked in a quality restaurant prior to coming here or knows a thing or two about cooking. If there was an area to improve upon, I thought the desserts could have done with more inspiration.ServiceThere is always a danger with employing 4-5 young waiters in the 16-19 age bracket. These young people were polite, efficient and well-trained. We had very good service. To sum up, we would definitely go back to the White Horse. it is popular with locals and visitors alike, and we would recommend it as a village pub/restaurant that provides something which is much better than average.

Set in the heart of North Wales Countryside, the Llindir Inn is a picture perfect country gem dating back to the early 13th Century. It is under new management and has recently had a complete refurbishment. Serving a range of cuisines, we aim to please al
Decided to have lunch here after visiting people nearby. Our sat nav stopped giving directions shortly after we passed the Inn, so turned around and asked a helpful local who came out of the Inn to point us in the right direction. Very friendly. I called the previous evening to ask if we needed to book, and was told there was no need. By the time we got back to the Inn after our short visit it was packed with diners so a good idea to book for Sunday lunch. They found us a table so big sigh of relief. I ordered the beef, a very generous portion cooked to perfection and on the rare side. The huge Yorkshire pudding was delicious, as were the potatoes and vegetables that were just as I like them and not overcooked. My partner had the chicken, again a generous serving of meat. The service was quick and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Would certainly return if we are in that area again.

A small, friendly cafe offering a place to meet, relax, watch the world go by & enjoy tasty home cooked food using fresh locally sourced produce. We don't serve 'fast food', but we do serve tasty fresh food as fast as we can. Please be aware that during b
Good location just off the main road tucked away in a side street. Lovely cappuccinos here served with good customer service from Sue. Atmosphere is of a laid back chilled out variety where customers are generally known to one another. A little on the small side seating wise although there is seating available outside. A nice place.

It must be 20 years since we last came here. Obviously very popular particularly with the senior population. Two of us opted for the scampi and two the crispy chicken. Goodish but not fantastic. The perfectly cut chips werenât cooked through. Liked the idea of the separate gravy jug with the chicken but sensed the chicken had been pre cooked and kept warm. Staff attentive. Not sure if we need to dash back.
