We had such a good morning. Stayed at Casa Del Rio and they sorted the boat for us. 1250pp seems expensive but is definitely worth it. The scenery is stunning and we saw plenty of wildlife too, monkeys, kingfishers, and a woodpecker. Easy to do on your own. We got the HM liner bus from Cubao for 166php each. Jeepney from Santa Cruz to Pagsanjan. Cheaper than some of the tours advertised, even with a night in Casa Del Rio.

Really enjoy the view even though it’s tiring to reach the waterfalls. It was really impressive place to see and soak in the cold water after a tiring trek.

Really nice spot, it takes about 5-10 mins to hike from the entrance. Entry fee is 50php You can get a jeepnee from Centro (naga) almost the whole way for 30php, (may be 20 I forgot) then a motorbike rider will take you from where the jeepnee drops you to the entrance for 40-100 php.

Although the hike is steep and up and down many stairs, the journey to get here as well as the waterfall itself is well worth it. You will walk through stunning rice terraces, and after about an hour hike, you will arrive at this beautiful waterfall, where you can take a swim and relax before the hike back up many stairs.

I went there yesterday, July 15, 2018. As a family, we wanted to relax so we took a quick overnight trip to Baler. We were not supposed to visit Ditumabo Mother Falls because of the hike but we were curious because of the reviews. Initially, we felt hesitant to try it but when our guide Michael, who was caring and patient, told us that we can do it and we need not rush, then, we decided to give it a try. Along the way, you will be amazed at the lush green surroundings; the rushing cool water is very relaxing. Though it was a tiring walk, when you get to see Mother Falls, then, you will say, it was all worth it. My daughter and I are on the heavy side and my husband does not like walking but this is a trip worth the effort. It was nothing for my son who was physically fit. The suspense before you see Mother falls even made the journey exciting. Going back was just half or 1/3 of going there. The trek is not too high but get ready to get wet along the way. Wear comfortable footwear - flip-flops, slippers or slip ons that can get wet. Wear something that can get wet also so that you won't have to change when you get there. There are no dressing areas when you get to the falls. There is a dressing area though when you get back. There is ample parking space so just leave your things inside the car and change after the trek. Their bathrooms/comfort rooms are well maintained since water is not a problem in Aurora. Bring water and food with you because there are no stores in the falls but there are stores before the start of the trek. Take a dip in the very cold water of the falls and try to get as close to the falls as you can because the water is not deep. It is very refreshing. The trip is not complete without a swim in the VERY clean water of the falls. There is also a crevice between the rocks where we were able to get real mineral water. Truly, you will appreciate God because of the beauty of Ditumabo Falls and the kindness of the locals in this part of Aurora.

It was an easy hike - mostly walking. The falls is great. I would love to swim but it was so cold during my visit. The scenery while walking to the falls was also beautiful. My guide said, you can hire a carabao carriage for Php900 maximum of 9PAX per carriage. It will bring you close to the falls but you still have to hike a little to swim and take great photos with the falls. Guide fee is Php100 while entrance/environment fee is Php10.

The Waterfalls in this municipality at La Union is an exciting tourist spot that can be reached thru an initial offroad driving followed by a motorcycle ride thru zigzag up and down narrow road. Afterwards, trek thru a path leading to an amazing downstream where water falls from a high cliff and another set of waterfalls from an uphill river. Its a nice sidetrip adventure while staying at a picturesque surfing resort in the nearby town of San Juan.
