All 24 life-size dinosaurs meeting together! Dinopark is the Japan’s largest walk through outdoor dinosaurs park.
This is much better than I expected. For 1000 yen per person (children 2 or younger enter for free), you get access to both attractions: a walk through the forest, with life-size animatronic dinosaurs; and a bus ride through the forest, with models of giant insects and a dramatic voice over. The quality of the animatronic dinosaurs and giant insects was surprisingly high. Each has an explanation of the dinosaurs you can see. The noises create an atmosphere of having travelled back in time. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk around the dinosaurs, and 10 minutes for the bus ride. Excellent for children, and fun for adults, too. The site includes some other small attractions and festival-style games, which seemed overpriced compared to the main attractions. There is a shop, selling many dinosaur themed toys and items. Some I saw were also being sold in the Dinosaur Museum gift shop, but they also had their own items for sale.
