Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

Our NEW Glenwood Gondola includes 44 detachable, six-passenger cabins with trips up the mountain averaging 7-8 minutes instead of the 12-13 minutes as in the past. We are located in historic Glenwood Springs, Colorado and offer a unique mountain-top adventure that's fun for the whole family. Some rides are seasonal; a list of which attractions are open can be found on our website. Great for groups, family reunions and birthday parties. Your visit to the Glenwood Caverns promises a unique, mountain-top adventure and memories to last a lifetime. The wholesome fun of nature-based educational activities combined with attractions to please die-hard thrill seekers makes this the perfect place to spend a day with family and friends.
AMAZING!!! This place is one of the most enjoyable and fun attractions you can visit in Glenwood Springs. The gondola ride is really beautiful, you will be able to see the whole town and the mountains that round the area, once you arrive at the top of the mountain you'll find a great amusement park where you can spend all day until 6:00 pm, there is also a nice restaurant that includes a terrace from where you can have a beautiful view of the village, the food is really good as well as the service, all the workers of this place are really friendly and helpful, also you can find a shop where nice souvenirs are sold and you can buy the tickets for the rides. If you are not in a rush I really recommend to buy the tickets online because you get 5%off and I also recommend to buy the FunDay Pass because the rides are really expensive if you want to buy them separately, so save money buying the FunDay Pass. They offer 2 cave tours: The historic fairy caves tour and the King's Row tour, I really recommend the second one, it's absolutely amazing. The rides are really impressive and I have to mention that this is the only mountain-top theme park in USA, so you can't miss this if you are in Colorado. I strongly recommend to visit this place. I have no words to describe how great is this place. ❤️❤️❤️

Discovered in 1881, Cave of the Winds has been a premier Colorado attraction for more than a century. Explore amazing caverns, experience total cave darkness, and marvel at the beauty of formations hundreds of thousands of years old. Then step outside and walk on the wind on the Wind Walker Challenge Course, fly like a bat on the Bat-a-Pult, and dive into Williams Canyon on the one of a kind aerial dive ride, the TERROR-Dactyl. Lots of family fun, amazing views and memories to last a lifetime!
We had a great time. Matt and Wesley were kind and patient as our guides on the Via Ferrata Tour, Carissa was funny and authoritative as our guide for the Lantern Tour, and the Wind Walker playground is also amazing.

Our seven-year-old had a blast! We rode the train, visited Santa, sent postcards from the "North Pole," bought candied nuts, and shopped around. I wish more of the rides would have been open, but it was definitely worth it considering they discounted the cost of admission to FREE! Such a fun visit! Totally recommend for kids of all ages!
