I'm writing this review even so I couldn’t enjoy the tours with Miki. We booked 2 tours in Shanghai, unfortunately I was not able to travel due to sickness. I informed Miki about the circumstances 5 days prior planed arrival. We received the full money back without any complaints. This is what I would call customer service. The tour was excellent, Bill went out of his way to accommodate us. We were at a hotel far from the city center in Shanghai. He picked us up on time and we were able to visit all the sights we wanted to see. If you want to visit Water town he is the best guide you’ll find in Shanghai. We can’t thank him enough for giving us our best day in China.

This is my second visit to China using China Highlights (they are a brilliant company, cannot praise them enough. Everything runs like clockwork from first contact, through designing the trip, to the experience itself) but this is my first time in the Shanghai region. My guide today was Jessica. From start to finish she was exceptional; nothing was too much trouble. I was taken care of like a King. In addition she is a very intelligent and highly educated young woman who is able to handle complex concepts and discussions in English. Her command of the language is really good, as is her knowledge of the subject. The tour today consisted of visits to two outstanding gardens plus a rickshaw ride and a wonderful lunch in a very nice restaurant. I could not find a fault and have no hesitation is giving both China Highlights and Jessica a 5 star rating. By only difficulty is that I can’t take her with me everywhere I go in China! Thank you China Highlights (for the record, my trip was organised by Fiona who never lost patience with me - I had a serious illness last year and so needed to be more fussy and careful than most) and a huge thank you for Jessica; a star in the making!
