This was our second tour with Taste of Bologna, having done the Pizza and Gelato tour on a previous visit, this time our daughter joined us and once again we had Sara to guide us through the food and history of Bologna. We started with an interesting Expresso, you need to do the tour to find out more, then through one of the mercado's, then to the best pasta shop in Bologna, we did it on our last tour and I went at 08.30 the morning before the tour to buy some before they ran out! We tried to make tortellini with mixed success , Sara bought fresh pasta and we were off to explore and then have some ragu, more exploring of the city then the bakers (wow) and then the collect our lunch to be enjoyed with a glass of vino, afterwards more exploring and gelato. We all had a fabulous time and learnt so much. Andrea was super helpful with answering question we had and providing restaurant recommendations all of which were really good

The food was absolutely delicious and Chef Antonio was knowledgeable and showed us several techniques for food and pasta prep. The space was very small and old fashioned but overall the class was still great because of the food. Highly recommend if you're not looking for something fancy, just a home cooked meal in a little Italian kitchen.
