Do you have an extra day before or after a safari in Tanzania? Or do you simply have a day in Morogoro to fill while waiting for a transfer in or out of town? A hike in the Uluguru Mountains to Choma Waterfall or all the way to Bondwa peak or Lupanga Peak is a great way to spend the day!, This is more of a walk through villages on a steep dirt trail, than it is a true “hike” through treacherous terrain.

We went on a one night two days safari with this company and it was so magical. We got to see so many animals, thanks to our amazing guide, Mariam. Mariam was so full of energy and on a good mood all the time, it was such a pleasure to spend those two days with her. We also had the opportunity to spend some time with Silas, our driver who is also a guide, and he was also so nice and knew everything about the park and the animals. We highly recommend the night game drive which is a complete different atmosphere from the day one and which allowed us to see more animals. Edward, the owner, was so helpful and very responsive via WhatsApp. We never got a problem with organising the trip, even from far away, he helped us book our ferry tickets to Zanzibar and arranged everything from and to Dar es Salaam. This was an incredible experience that we will never forget !! Especially because of the lions that we saw !! Thank you again, Étienne and Chloe

Perhaps most unique to Mikumi are large buffaloes population. The largest member of the antelope family cuts a striking figure as it grazes on the open fields, and the park's huge array of birdlife (over 400 species) make it a birder's paradise as well. Big cats such as lions and leopard are also available

Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest reserves in the world with a huge elephant population. It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died here in 1917 fighting against the Germans. Selous safaris have the added bonuses of guided bush walks and boat safaris, as well as 4x4-based game-viewing, providing a more divers experience than safaris in other reserves. Good chances of seeing Wild Dogs here, and birdlife is prolific.

We initially booked our 3 day safari back in October and decided to go despite COVID-19 outbreak and flight cancellations. We are grateful to Tomodachi safari for making this trip happen and highly recommend them to everyone. Our special thanks go to Emma for her patience and flexibility with re-booking and our wonderful guide Moses for making our visit to Tanzania so memorable.
Uluguru Mountains rise southeast of Morogoro Town and its about 2km to the spot, its 2500km above sea level, lie 200 km inland from the Indian Ocean. Lupanga peak, Bondwa peak and Kinole peak are the popular peaks on this Mountains, The higher is Lupanga peak, Bt the tourists come more often to Bondwa peak because its just 1500km and many others they hike up to Morning side where you will have the chance to see Germany historical site, built 1910, and later go to the choma waterfall The name uluguru mountains come from the Luguru tribe, been living on the mountains for several hundred years, so the name means people's mountains. Females are the one own the Land and they are powerful in village life compared to other Tribes Every tour is different from the other in one or more ways, and so is this. This happens because others cant differentiate trekking from other safaris like wildlife game viewing.

The 3days safari were amazing. The team of Enima did its best to organise a safari although I was struggling to find people to join, thank you again Paul for your hard work!! The park is wonderful, so much nature and animals all around. Was really happy to choose Ruaha national Park because of this, and instead of touristic place like serengeti. We did not see a lot of tourists in the park, which reinforce the feeling of being alone in the jungle. Sam, the guide and driver was great. He has more than 10 years of experience and told me so much about every single animal we saw, he was really amazing. Thanks to him, I saw lions, wild dog and so many more... Again this experience will stay in my mind for ever. I recommend 100% Rubaba safaris & tour. The founder, Enima, is a great entrepreneur.

Not difficult trekking with nice views. Near the waterfall there is a views point with a panorama of the city of Morogoro - deserving every drop of sweat;) I did my trip with a guide named Evance. Nice day spent in good company. Nice and smiling dude with whom you can have a good conversation. Also caring and with knowledge. I recommend!
The Nyerere National Park boasts an enticing mix of abundant wildlife to explore. Spending some nights under African stars whilst canvas in the middle of wild bush, Selous game reserve creates good chances of spectacular view in various aspects, making every day different from the next. Guided game viewing on the boat, unlike in a vehicle, awakes good time and great golden memories for the entire lifetime. The forest of Udzungwa acts as a water catchment area and do have a large number of endemic species of both animals and plants, the park has spectacular mountains scenery, grasslands, rocks, rivers and waterfalls. Among the few unique forested lands, Udzungwa has a biological diverse forest, harbouring exotic plant species found nowhere else in the world, which makes it are the most attracting of the forest park. The indigenous species of primates, the Iringa red colobus monkey and the Sanje Crested Mangabey, not known until 1979 are among the attractions.
