Monaco City (French: Monaco-Ville) is the southcentral Ward in the Principality of Monaco. Located on a headland that extends into the Mediterranean Sea, Monaco City is nicknamed The Rock (French: Le Rocher). The name "Monaco City" (French: Monaco-Ville) is misleading, Monaco City is a historical and statistical district, not a city.

This day trip provides both free time and time with a private guide to hear facts and history about the destinations. We took this tour in late December. I don't remember the driver/tour guide's name (sorry) but he was easy to talk to, gave us a lot of information. We started at the winery and met the winemaker George. George spoke only French so our tour guide helped translate but towards the end we were all able to converse a little. It was very cool to see how he ages the wine in the sun. We learned about his wine making process and then tasted several of his wines plus his olives. We bought some bottles to drink back at Nice and I wish we had bought more. The winery is full of beautiful paintings done by the winemaker's brother, who also designs the labels. We then went to St Paul-de-Vence and toured the little village. Since it was Christmas time, the village was decorated and was really very pretty. I recommend this tour if you have any interest in wine (and even if you don't because you might after this tour!). We were a family with 4 young adults, only one was a teen (I had to choose a category) to submit this review.

We did the free walking tour in Nice with a small group of just 5 people. Although our guide isn’t originally from the area, we was really knowledgable. He took us to some beautiful stops and also climbed with us all the way to the mountain top to present us a breathtaking view over the French Riviera. I highly recommend this tour. Thanks again!

Ben’s customer’s service is outstanding! He speaks fluent English. We went to a lot of “must see” places and he brought us to the wonderful panoramic views of the city. He was also very accommodating to take our photos as requested. He gave us all cold and thirst quenching water which was a life-saver on this hot summer day. He gave us ample time to tour around, although the time in Monaco was a bit too tight since we had our lunch there & 1 hour is not enough for everything, oh well, the restaurant took a long time to prepare my food & so I ran out of time to buy souvenirs. Lesson of the story is — just order a quick & simple food on the menu. Otherwise, everything went smoothly, the whole group was actually in sync with each other although we all just met, we even had a singing time while traveling, yes, we all got along so well!!! Ben, was singing at some point, too— we all had a good laugh— no boring moments & it made the day more fun, enjoyable & memorable.

Elias was our assigned photographer he understood our needs perfectly and worked with us very well. He took the most amazing pictures of my daughter. Even though I did not want my own picture taken he also convinced me of that. Many locations are closed in Morocco currently because of covid but we found many beautiful alternate locations instead. There is so much beauty in Marrakech you will definitely want to document it with this group. Pictures were delivered to us two days later while we were still on vacation. I asked for a few edits and the group was very cooperative in providing them.
