We were happy to have Nadia as a guide, who was absolutely nice and welcoming. A genuine professional that could quickly notice what triggered our interest along the tour and bring up more interesting details to meet our curiosity. It really just felt like walking around with a friend who is truly passionate about Danish culture herself and together enjoying the beautiful places we were seeing. This tour option turned out perfect for the corona time when everything is closed because, even though you cannot enter the castles or the library or anything, there is a person who can describe it to you in a comprehensive and captivating way. Definitely enjoyed this experience.

The legendary creatures of Danish folklore are more than just the Little Mermaid immortalised by H. C. Andersen. The Danish bestiary also includes such monsters as man-eating trolls, dragons who hoard treasures and fight against bulls, the heraldic wild men depicted on the royal coat of arms and the strange creature known as the ”Sea Bishop”. Even the centre of Copenhagen that draws the most tourists and traffic is haunted by mythical beasts who are seen in statues, reliefs and artwork on buildings. Yet many of these monsters remain unknown to most visitors. You can, however, now fill this gap in your folkloric knowledge with this self-guided GPS audio tour. Download the HidDenmark Monstour VoiceMap unto your Smartphone. It will guide you on a journey from the Tivoli amusement park over the Copenhagen Stock Exchange to the canals, while narrating how weird tales of strange and terrible beings have shaped the capitol of the country.

And we ate it all! Seraina was very knowledgeable about the area. Showed us a great variety of Danish foods and when we went to get our Danish hotdogs and everything closed she did everything she could to make sure we had our hotdog in whatever form we could find. Great conversation and lot of fun. Hope to see her again.

Having said that we booked the "Group Option", there was only myself and my wife on the bus, so we had our guide Svend all to ourselves. Collection was from our hotel in a smart 16 seater minibus and we set off to Roskilde for visits to the Cathedral (where all the Kings & Queens are buried) and then to the Viking Ship museum. We particularly enjoyed the ship museum and if you are planning a private tour would suggest you make sure enough time is spent here. Then it is off to Hillerod and after lunch in the town a walk around Fredriksborg Castle. - If you want to see all the castle and walk round the gardens you need to get a move on. Your guide will almost certainly recommend you include the Castle Chapel on your tour. Back on the bus and off to the final stop at Kronborg Castle in Helsingborg. An interesting tour round the inside with a mock performance of part of Hamlet, followed by a walk onto the ramparts with views of Sweden. It's a lot to fit into a single day and your guide does have to keep you moving, so you don't always get as long as you want at each location.

We have been in Aarhus in July 2020 and took a 2 hour excursion to see the highlights of the city. Marina is really knowledgeable and passionate about the city history. The excursion was very interesting and we have also seen some hidden places which we would never discover by ourselves. Marina is friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Marina if you are looking for a guide in Aarhus.
