The location is good and the owner was pleasant but limited English spoken. Our room was up in the attic accessed by a terrifying creaky old narrow staircase and was very small with low eaves and poorly fitting windows which either stuck shut or open. The curtains in the bathroom were bits of black fabric hanging on coat hangers and the whole room was full of tacky bric-a-brac and feathers hanging on the walls which were made of sheets of hardboard with no soundproofing as advertised so you could hear every cough and thump from the other rooms. Breakfast was good as it was just things bought from the Boulangerie next door so they could hardly go wrong with that. No cups though, only cereal bowls for tea and coffee! We left two days early as the whole place was depressing and the 5.00am wake up call from the local cockerel which lasted until at least 8.00am was just too much to cope with after three days. I can now see why most of the photos on the website are of the pool as that is the best part of the place except for all the dead plants around it. The whole place just needs a complete make-over. I certainly would not recommend this hotel to older people as the staircase is a real issue for anyone with any mobility or knee problems.

Had a lovely stopover her on way home, though a bit hard to find. The Chateau is lovely, set in gorgeous surroundings, with huge garden were you can sit and enjoy a glass of vino. The bedroom was huge with a really comfy bed. There is no restaurant on site, but not far into Dieppe for a bite to eat, about 20 mins. I asked the owner to supply us a couple bottles of whine we were charged 18 /15 euros for a bottle red and rose which I thought was a bit pricey. breakfast wasn't very exciting I'm afraid, a pastry on the side, and a basket with couple croissants and bread.

Booked this to see the Rouen Armada but absolutely amazed by this lovely, quaint hotel, run by a hardworking French owner who has had this now since about 2016 and who took it over following the demise of the previous owner some 15 years ago after which it remained empty for some 12 years. It is full of fascinating artifacts including posters on the musical comedy by the same name, but all brought together extremely tastefully to give an impression of uniqueness, novelty and character. Room and bed were comfortable with en suite and our dog was made extremely welcome. Would strongly recommend this for its depth of character and the warm welcome by the owner. Our room was up some narrow stairs and so would suggest you check out room availability if you have mobility concerns. Breakfast in a charming and colourful enclosed terrasse extension to the hotel with views over delightful countryside. Positioned some 35-40 mins from Rouen but well worth the detour.

A beautiful, natural place. Me and my girlfriend stayed here just one night but wish it had been longer. 10/15 minutes from Evreux but felt like a world away. Very calm and relaxed with absolutely fantastic scenery to relax, read and take a real break. The hosts were brilliant, we were welcomed with a beer and sent off with a crate of local cider to take home after already giving us a lift to the train station. The room was bright, cosy and clean and our breakfast, which we took on the bridge with the river flowing underneath, was delicious. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the tower room. A very pretty location in quiet countryside but very close to Vernon for its amenities and sites. Very well presented and equipped - a pleasure to stay in and a place I'd be happy to return to for a longer stay

What a wonderful surprise. This venue is beautiful, inside and out. The hosts are very welcoming. Our room was clean and well decorated. We had a view to both the front and the back of the premises. I can imagine some thought had gone into the positioning of the room, as unusually you walk directly into the bathroom as you enter the room, and then move through to the bedroom, which then takes you to the WC which is behind the bathroom. But after staying there I can now see that to walk into the bedroom would mean our view was to the front of the house and therefore car park, which we wouldn’t have wanted, and we would have probably pulled the blinds down. But by having the bedroom part at the back of the area it means we had that beautiful view from our bedroom and could keep the blinds up. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Homemade yogurt, fresh scrambled eggs, fresh bread (two types) 2 x jam, butter, fresh juice, fresh coffee, fruit salad, crepes and of course croissant. Dining table communal, but the room had a facility to lead onto the patio (but our visit was a little too cool to have the french doors open). Our room contained sachets of instant coffee, sachets of tea & mini milk cartons. Kettle too. Shampoo & shower gel in the bathroom along with a hairdryer too. Towels. Nice clean bedding. Floors were beautiful and clean. I would definitely stay again, would be fantastic when the the weather is even better. But there is a huge open fire in the lounge area for winter - so might have to return then?

The "Carre QUARTZ" is located in a grand and intimate setting, under the pines trees, near the Villa Quartz, and 300 meters from the sea at Pourville-sur-Mer, south of Dieppe. It offers 3 guest rooms (B&B) design luxury *** (4 stars classification in progress), on an exceptional site, with amazing views of the sea, the beach and the cliffs of Alabaster Coast... Designed in the sme spirit as the Villa Quartz, the "Carre Quartz" surprise you with its contemporary architecture of glass and steel, which points to the sky, folowing the descent of the pines trees. A perfect place to relax in all its fullness, to be pampered, the eyes plunging into the sea to the horizon, while keeping the head on the pillow, and only at 5 minutes from the nearest beach. The "Carre" can be rented room by room, B&B formular, or as a single unit rental, private and exclusive of all the villa for 6 persons...
We stayed at la Villa Quartz 2 weeks ago for the Wedding weekend of very good friends. We were very impressed with the facilities it had to offer. A very modern B&B in the middle of the country side with a fabulous view. Although no one was there to welcome us, the instruction given by the owner were clear and me managed to get settled very easily. Our room was clean and very trendy and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious and you even have free tea/coffee/biscuits and fruits available all day. It felt just like home. Only minus was the bathroom which didn't give much privacy and the shower that was a bit too small. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.
