Given the close proximity to Yi Sun-shin Park (2.9 mi), guests of Hyacinth Pension can easily experience one of Tongyeong's most popular landmarks. Reviewed By AllisonS14Stayed here a few months back as a couple traveling from Seoul. Great little hotel set a bit out of the central area. We had a wonderful view that was beautiful to wake up to. A very clean and well-managed place. Without a rental car and/or Korean language skills, this hotel was a bit hard to navigate from, but the kind owner called us taxis and helped us (though his English was limited). Note: no restaurants or markets within walking distance, so you are stranded without a car! Would highly recommend Hyacinth if you speak Korean or have a rental car. And if you don't, bring groceries for the well-stocked kitchen and you will enjoy the peace and beauty!

Perfect vacation spot for triathlon training
Reviewed By mf-ellingMy husband and I took a pool villa at Ohorak Pension in connection with our participation in Ironman 70.3 Goseong. We had no expectations and were prepared for just about anything - so we were extremely surprised when we walked into the property. Nestled on the side of a mountain, Ohorak Pension has a perfect view to the lake and the small Goseong skyline. The pool villas have a tiny pool and jacuzzi that are for personal use and actually create a beautiful ambience for an evening outdoor dinner. The villa was extra clean with all the necessary amenities including slippers, towels, clean and crisp bed linen, cups and plates. A small microwave, a cooker and a kettle made the perfect addition to prepare your basic meals. The hotel does not have a big restaurant but they help you ordering food. When the owner realized that we were ordering the same food for the second night in a row, she invited us to her family dinner at the hotel. On the morning of our race, our bus failed to show and she drove us and other competitors to the race venue in her private car! The cleaning ladies were ready to attend to our every need and although we could only communicate through google translate, they were sweet and wanted to assist with anything that we could possibly imagine. The owner's daughter spoke perfect English and she arranged for anything that we might have required during our stay. If you are considering a week's worth of training, a family trip to the Dinosaur park or participating in Ironman 70.3 Goseong, this is the place to stay. You will never feel disappointed.

Looks nothing like the photos
Reviewed By karl pWhoever took these photos deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. The room looked nothing like the photos. Everything was old, paint chipping everywhere, and they used matte paint to touch up defects on the walls which were originally painted with semigloss so the whole place looks atrocious. Absolutely do not stay at this hotel.

Dream pool villas where relaxation and leisure are combined. Pool villas with different themes and different experiences. The beautiful Namhae, Sacheon's love lovers, and various community facilities to enjoy with their family will impress and delight.

Reviewed By jerryrA592TTWe liked the room but the small pool in our room was drained of water. Someone parked in my parking place was very rude even he was a member of management. When we went to eat breakfast they charged 3$ extra perp person hidden fee and said the if we had a reservation then we would be charged the advertised price and told to look it up on kakao. When we looked there’s no information on this hidden charge which is false advertisement Bottom line the room is ok but don’t expect any world class service from the low level employees and management
